The Villain clawed and spat and yelled, now they sit in shame, their greatest asset stripped from them

Subdued Hero paraded around like a party favour by the Villain after turning them harmless (or the other way around)

A bejewelled collar covered in rhinestones that cost tens of thousands, but Whumpee would do anything to get rid of it

Team gets captured and Leader is dragged out and collared in front of them, the leash tight in Whumper's hand as they smile down at Leader

Prisoner/guard dog Whumpee who wears a collar as a mark of identification with their number/owner on the tag

list of some tropes that are very clichés and very lovely:

someone being told to use [name] instead of a title and the name just... becomes the title. Yes, Name. Thank you, Name. Sorry, Name. It doesn't mean anything to them.

Someone with good intentions, shocked at what they're seeing and whumper's delightfulness in humiliating whumpee for them. yes, do show them how obedient your pet is.

assumptions. especially ones that cause massive misunderstanding. whumpee spending weeks in fear bc they assumed something and caretaker another. surprise! you're not dying anytime soon.

"[order] or I'll make you" (and it'll be 1838392 times worse) (:

tests. "they'll never know" except they do because it was a test and you failed. suffer.

panic over minor incidents (i.e. the beloved broken glass.)

terrified whumpee still trying to protect their new friend.

whumper bemused as they listen to whumpee's reasons to not [blank] them right now. it's happening anyway but the babbling is always fun.

scrambling away as someone slowly walks behind. so cute.

whumpee being given options and begging. they'll choose but they still beg.

the exact same torture happening every day until whumpee slowly breaks. and then it continues anyway.

whumpee who shows a bit of defiance. maybe gets some hope about freedom. and is immediately reminded of the reality of it all.

Concept: whumpers not only traumatizing whumpees, but proactively making them caretaker-resistant.

Offering them the occasional gesture that seems kind on its head, but always turns out to be some kind of trick or cruelty, making whumpees even more unwilling to accept help in the future.

Examples of Proactive Caretaker-Resistant Conditioning may include:

Giving whumpees hugs that are not optional, painful, or include invasive touching

Periodically offering whumpees better food options that are laced with poisons

Encouraging whumpees to voice their discomforts and then punishing them in specific ways for each complaint

Making all the most comfortable sleeping spots available to whumpee ones they would have to share with creepy whumpers

Only offering them painkillers that make them feel ill as a side effect

Allow them outside time, but with extremely restrictive time periods and severe punishments for if they stay out a second past that

Having them speak to a therapist or work with a physical therapist who work to actively undermine any progress they make

I love the idea of a whumpee having a wardrobe malfunction that leads to a past injury/torture reveal.

Oh, your sleeve ripped and your whole team saw the brand your kidnapper branded you with? Delicious, tell me more!

Your shirt rode up when you took off your sweatshirt and your coworkers saw the scars from when you were whipped repeatedly? Oh boy I love that stuff!

whumpees hitting the first number in their contacts and hoping they pick up. maybe the person who answers isn't who they thought they clicked. maybe their hands are trembling with the shame of needing help.

caretakers who ignore numbers that aren't in their contacts receiving four from the same number and finally picking up to hear the last few words whumpee is capable of speaking. vs the caretakers who pick up on the first ring, immediately on edge, because whumpee never calls, so something is very wrong.

bystanders beside an incapacitated whumpee, ems on the way, trying to keep them awake. "should I call someone? i'll take your phone, who do you want me to call?" caretaker's subsequent confusion when they answer whumpee's call and a different voice starts talking to them. "you're not Whumpee. what the hell happened?"

whumpers pressing the phone to their captive's mouth, whispering the script in their ear, pulling their hair if they sound too distressed, grinning when the caretaker agrees to meet them--gotta get it perfect to lure the bait. "tell them it's important. good."

villains who, as a last resort, dial up the one hero they can contact. not expecting them to pick up but desperate anyway. the moment caretaker answers, villain lets out a sob. "i'm sorry. i didn't know who else to call."

there's just so many OPTIONS. i'm obsessed.

I would like a moment of appreciation for non/dubcon whump.

Trying to have a romantic moment with Caretaker but all Whumpee can feel is Whumper’s hands all over them.

Newly rescued, delirious Whumpee trying to give Caretaker “favors” because they think they’ll be punished if they don’t.

Whumper who tells Whumpee how beautiful they look when they scream for help.

Caretaker who expects to find Whumpee in a dark cell, probably unwashed and starving, but instead finds them perfectly cared for, dressed in lingerie, and chained up near Whumper’s bed.

Whumpee who is kept on a leash at Whumper’s side at all times for easy access.

Whumpee who isn’t compliant enough so Whumper has them drugged until that’s no longer a problem.

Whumpee who doesn’t want Caretaker to know what Whumper did to them, so they never tell Caretaker what their rope burns are actually from.

Whumper who gets Whumpee intoxicated and convinces them that they actually wanted this and Whumper was doing them a favor by allowing them to have it.
