forever a wanda maximoff defender, reblog if u would defend her with ur life
Hey. Hey you. The person aimlessly scrolling, stuck in an immobilized standoff with your brain
It's not your fault. You won't be stuck forever. I know you're trying. I know you hate it. It's ok.
And tell the Mean Voice in your head that it's not helping. It knows as well as you do that you would get up and Just Start the task if you could. You're not doing this on purpose.
Take a deep breath. Relax your jaw. I see you trying so hard to break out of it, but you can't force it. You'll get Unstuck eventually. All you can do in the interim is be kind to yourself.
heres my advice to any followers i have who are young. Don't delete things when you think you've outgrown them or they're cringy. If you make youtube videos just private them don't delete them. Save your files, you can bury them in multiple sub-folders if you think they're cringe now but DON'T DELETE THEM! It doesn't feel like it now but years in the future you will look back fondly at who you were and wish you still had those things.
sometimes when u cut ur lip
I wish everyone who is promoting the whole “Jews are the new Nazis” rhetoric a very kill yourself
You do not get to take one of the worst things that has ever happened to Jewish people as a collective and use it to “make a point.”
What’s happening in Gaza is terrible and I think it should have never happened and should end immediately.
But it is not the same as the Holocaust. It is not the same as what happened in Germany. If you genuinely believe that it is, you are either willfully ignorant or you need to do a lot more research into what happened to us.
You do not get to weaponize our trauma against us. You do not get to use it as a gotcha. You do not have the right to call a Jewish person a nazi. You do not get to call Bibi Hitler. You do not get to derive the sick self-satisfying pleasure of looking up “nazi quotes WWII” and pasting them over Israeli citizens fucking missing posters.
And yeah, I’m talking to white goys who have made this their entire personality. You are so fucking excited that there’s a group you’re allowed to be openly bigoted against again that you are foaming at the fucking mouth. Tell me why I just saw a white tiktok boy use a quote from Joseph Goebbels against Israel.
And yk what? It isn’t just the white people. It’s my fellow POC too. Spreading blood libel. Antisemitic tropes about Jews controlling the media. Saying that the leaders of Hamas are “standing on business.” Making funny little tiktoks about wanting to join Hamas because they seem “cool.” You are just as capable of antisemitism as any white person.
I’m just disgusted with how quickly “free Palestine”, a movement I wholeheartedly support, became “All Jews are evil.”
J hope this makes someone take a long look at themselves.
Our trauma is not yours to compare.
