I think it depends on what type of fic you’re looking for/why you’re interested in that tag! Do you want to see Damian being an older brother? Angsty Red Hood Tim? A reversed Robin and Red Hood enmity? Angsty Red Hood Steph? Adorable baby Dick with older brothers? Talon!Dick?
Damian is the first Robin. In some AUs, he’s Shadow or Shrike instead. He normally becomes Nightwing.
Usually, Tim is the second Robin. Normally, he dies and becomes Red Hood after spending time in the League of Assassins under Ra’s’s thumb.
Rarely, Steph is the one who dies and becomes Red Hood.
Jason becomes Robin next. Sometimes, he still dies and becomes Red Hood despite the age swap. But normally Reverse Robins defaults to that being Tim, for the angst of Tim having to deal with Ra’s after his resurrection.
Dick is the youngest! Sometimes he’s also a Talon to mimic Damian’s assassin background.
Duke, Barbara, and Cass are wildcards, and their situation is whatever the writer wants it to be.
Of course, there are variations on this. Everyone’s Reverse Robins are very different, and the fics’ moods vary quite a bit too. I recommend searching the tag with a character and just clicking on the ones that seem interesting. But…
Some Reverse Robins fics I’ve enjoyed:
Off the Street — Red Hood!Tim and Robin!Jason. Read the warnings though.
Absolution — Tim and Damian. This one is very dark.
the family jewels (series) — Tim-centric. Similar to Absolution in themes, and very dark as well.
Placeholder — Especially the second chapter. Really good explanation for why Tim would become Red Hood.
There are Worse Things to Be — Fluffy and cute. Damian being Dick’s older brother.
Stray — Sweet Batman!Damian adopts Talon!Dick
