So glad we got a little hand holding even though we didn’t get a sweet Kanthony kiss on the lips as they would have done, nor Kate holding her own baby in the show. we at least got this and seeing little baby Neddy with his parents as the scene progresses. Disappointed but we must cherish what we got and JB& SA did the best they could with this one scenes together.

Oh my! The best bts fo the best scene in S4 for Kanthony fans. Only disappointed by the fact the scene didn’t have there usual loving tender passionate kiss. Still what a treat to see this released.

This is what I will miss seeing in s4 part 2. As rumor has it, Kanthony won’t even have a kiss or family moment together with their baby. I hope it isn’t true. We all want to see this type of hot chemistry.

This is what the general audience and Kanthony fans want to see, The Viscount and Viscountess Bridgerton in every season as part of the story of each season’s lead couple. Please SL and Netflix don’t be afraid to give the people what they want to see when they watch Bridgeton.

The message behind the diverse casting in Bridgerton is to say to viewers, “We see you. You deserve this fantasy. You deserve this love.”

To tell viewers, here’s someone you can identify with only to then limit the screen-time for that character and exclude that actor from promo, well, you’re going to take that personally.

And that’s what Bridgerton is doing to Kate & Simone Ashley.

Unfortunately, it has been very obvious that they hooked us in with Kanthony and then left us high and dry as they were afraid Kanthony would overshadow the other lead couples. In a way they have since when there is no promo of them EVERYONE notices their absence. What is most heartbreaking is that some actually think it is okay to have Kanthony without Kate and just have Anthony. They could have explored so much more but didn’t for the reason we all know but won’t say. Having a popular WoC wasn’t something I think they expected to happen so when she isn’t in any promo or even talked about by cast or production, it is clear she is not valued or worth the verbal and visual validation. We all know Viscountess Bridgerton will not be featured much in part 2 of S4 and she will not be in S5, which is a shame!

Touch is a powerful sense and when someone you love touches you, it brings such joy and happiness. The power of touch can be very healing. They are the best thing about Bridgerton for me and that is my humble opinion which isn’t worth much. I enjoyed s1 but s2 captured my heart with these two lovely actors portraying Kat and Anthony. I hope we continue to see a little bit of them every season or perhaps have a small minor plot at some point but I am dreaming since they aren’t the favorites of the producers unfortunately. I am happy for the few mins they get though, which is great for the fanfic writers to formulate their stories lol 😂

I hope in s4 we get some more Bridgerton siblings content like the bros having fun witty banter while drinking or just hanging out and talking about life and family. The show needs to focus on the not only the couple of the season but also the Bridgertons. All the side plots are too much. Now I would love some more Kanthony scenes with some small plot as they are the Viscount and Viscountess but it is hoping for too much, I know. Please let’s feature some good Bridgerton siblings conversations as they are so fun to watch.

With the F1 Movie release lingering closer and closer, it’s time to have an uncomfortable conversation.

Forgive me for going all feminist on you (I’m not sorry), but have a seat and let’s chat, yeah?

Let’s discuss the negative impact this movie is going to have on women in motorsport as well as female fans, shall we?

Of course the obvious conversation is about the women working in motorsport. Imagine how poorly the plot is going to reflect on them. Why? Oh, well let’s see. You’ve got an entire plot that revolves around the main character (who’s played by a misogynistic wife beater, by the way, great casting choice!) sleeping with his fucking female engineer.

Now bear in mind how that’s going to negatively affect the PR of women working in motorsport. Especially Laura Mueller, who is the sport’s first ever female race engineer in its entire 75 year history. Who literally already has incels on the internet saying the only way she got her job is because she slept with someone.

And of course, consider the female fans.

There are so many of us out here every day fighting with male fans who think we “don’t know anything” and “only watch F1 because the drivers are hot.” We are constantly ostracized in this fucking sport and feeling like we have to prove that we’re even allowed to like it.

Can you imagine how poorly the F1 Movie will reflect on us?

All this movie is going to do is push the harmful, negative stereotype that F1 is a “man’s world.” It’s just going to make women feel like they don’t belong in a sport where they already feel shoved aside.

So, and maybe I’m being a little dramatic here, but if you happen to know a female F1 fan, please be kind to her. Please check on her.

They had a great opportunity to have DI be a co lead not a support for BP. The way they treated SA was terrible. The brief love story got cut for BP to have and inappropriate relationship with his female engineer. I enjoy F1 and thought this movie would be good until I saw how it was just a showcase for BP to try to have a hit like Top Gun: Maverick. I am just so disappointed that this movie has no good female characters and is just a “boys” movie. It should be boycotted so it can flop and the producers will think twice about not listening to the public about featuring a story about DI with BP supporting not the other way round. This movies sets back females in the sport of motor cross. Sorry to rant I am just upset that this is not the movie I thought it was going to be. I was looking forward to till I saw the previews and how SA was cut out of the film and DI’s role was more support than co-lead. Well, it save me some $$ for another film, lol 😂

Everything I learn about the f1 movie is against my will but I just want to say for the umpteenth time FUCK BRAD PITT AND EVERYONE WHO HAD ANY DECISION MAKING POWER REGARDING THE SCRIPT AND EDITING OF THIS DUMPSTER FIRE.

The only female character will be the race engineer who has an inappropriate workplace relationship with geriatric Pitt's self-interest. In real life, Laura Müller is the 1st full-time female race engineer. She got that job this year. This movie has been in development since at least 2021, we deadass nearly got this movie & this bs relationship BEFORE A WOMAN EVEN GOT THAT JOB.

We've not had a woman on the grid since 1992, when 18 of the 21* current drivers on the grid literally didn't exist. The last woman to participate in an f1 race weekend was Susie Wolff in 2015. Grid Girls only stopped being a thing in 2018. How women in motorsport are portrayed absolutely matters because it impacts how they are seen and how they are treated. This depiction is a huge setback and its being fucking endorsed and promoted by the sport itself.

They also cut the only woman of colour from the movie, despite her involvement being used as marketing since the literal moment they announced her casting. They reduced her to a fucking cameo.

Justice for Simone Ashley, for Laura Müller & for women across motorsport because this movie is going to do significant harm.

I don’t like to normally post stuff like this but I am upset about Simone’s part being reduced to a silent cameo of a second or two. She has promoted the movie since she was cast in it until just recently. I think it is shameful to cast an actor and use them to market and promote a movie that they thought they would have a small role in and at the last minute just cut the role entirely. JK can say anything he wants but we know what happened even if the media doesn’t say much about it but I hope they continue to post stories about it. The guy didn’t read the room so to speak as ppl wanted to see Simone with Damson since that was in the photos leaked from the set, so now he is doing damage control and doing it badly. Please don’t support this film as it doesn’t support women in F1 in a positive way at all. Boycott F1 to show Hollywood this treatment isn’t right no matter how they spin it.

I wanted to see this movie bc I like F1 and I wanted to see the little bit of romance with Damson and Simone’s characters not BP’s romance. So disappointing that this happened to her. I won’t be seeing this movie nor will I recommend it to anyone. It is not right that her role cut and not getting the exposure she deserves, especially since she has been promoting it in interviews and events since being cast. The director and producers didn’t do her right!

I enjoyed these scenes from S3. I loved the competitive natures coming out in both of them so reminiscent of the Ascot horse race and the pall mall game. I hope we see some more fun moments between them in S4 in between the baby smiles/cuddles and maybe another spicy bedroom scene. We can hope and they get a couple of good scenes together.

unless they specifically asked, you don’t get to tell a fanfic writer you think they mischaracterized the character by the way. because the second someone writes a fanfic about a character, that character becomes the writer’s own version of the character. canon is only a suggestion, but whether or not an author will follow it / how much of canon an author will take is entirely up to them. you don’t get to stick your nose in their world and tell them “hey this is not to my liking therefore I think you’re doing it wrong” when you can simply leave quietly and move on to something else you may enjoy

I have to repost this as it is so true. We have so many wonderful fanfic authors on here and Ao3. I read SnowbIrd, Kanthony and Haladriel fanfics. The writers that contribute to these fandom are all so talented and sometimes I don’t care for a story but I never leave a negative comment because they took the time to be creative and write something for the characters I enjoy. The summaries aren’t always on point but if I don’t care for the plot or it is not my cup of tea then I move on to the next story. My dear authors you are so appreciated for your hard work and courage to post. Please continue to post your wonderful amazing stories and don’t get discouraged if someone criticizes or slams your story as it is just a comment/opinion and there are so many more ppl who enjoy and appreciate your work even if they don’t comment or leave a like. I salute you all and give you many kudos for all the stories you create. Thank you !
