I hate that when you’re stressed enough your body just starts falling apart. I think it should realize you’re already stressed and don’t need that and start functioning better actually

translation from turkish the guy: are you hungry? are you really hungry? didn’t they feed you in the street? you poor thing. let me give you something then. come. come. do you like spleen? it’s hematinic. (this sentence wasn’t the exact translation but it’s the best i can come up with) like this look. let me give you some spleen. this much. is this enough? get it.
this is so cute. I love the butcher chatting away and the cat responding, him pulling out a package of meat and showing it, just like he’s dealing with any customer.
one of those posts that makes me happy every time I see it
A bitter sweet update to this video, the cat passed away :( But there is a silver lining. The Butcher, sad and despondent took her body in and buried in his garden in a little grave.
And to honor his friend he added this to his shop.
STOP IM CRYING
held on til may. now what

“you support gay rights so you must be gay”

Diversity win! The alpaca is gay!

A llama? He’s supposed to be DEAD!
I think Scooby Doo as a franchise has under explored the potential of the late 60s and early 70s as a setting
I'm sorry but my conceptualization of Fred is directly tied to his dodging of the draft, and his gay autistic swag
Fred just wants to solve mysteries and maybe hook up with Shaggy a few times, he is a nice boy, and that's important because if the show takes place in the year it was made then he was almost certainly dodging the draft, which adds a level of depth to him as we know he's nice and that niceness gives him a motivation beyond mystery, he doesn't want to go to Vietnam and kill but he can't say he's gay because Stonewall hasn't happened yet
He's scared, he makes mistakes, he had to leave his family, and feels lucky that his only friends agreed to join him in his van as he went to Canada, like Scooby Doo as a show really only works if you consider this, why are they always in a new place? Because they are on the run. I think a lot of Fred fans like him because he's a kind hearted silly guy, but once you realize the implications of the draft, he becomes a much more fascinating character, one we will never actually see explored because WB would never make scooby political sadly
To me, Fred is the most important character in Scooby Doo, not the dog or Shaggy, because while they instigate the plots of the episodes and see the ghosts and ghouls, Fred is the one who tries to catch and reveal the monsters, he has a strong moral compass, he knows what these people are doing is wrong and so he risks being found by the police to help the communities he goes through by catching these monsters
*turns my attention inwards* mmmmm. no *turns my attention back outwards* oh god
personally I am of the opinion that vegans who are like “the way our food system currently works under capitalism on a large scale is exceptionally cruel to all animals including humans and is not sustainable, so I’m doing what I can to make the most ethical choices available to me about what I eat and encourage others to do the same” are generally very reasonable people who I agree with in spades. but vegans who seem to think human beings are not themselves animals who are ultimately also part of the food chain but instead some kind of other paternalistic higher entity that can never engage in ethical and sustainable hunting practices (and especially the fringe I’ve seen who think other carnivorous animal predators are also evil and need to be eliminated) are people I regard as foolish at best if not actively anti-indigenous and racist
@moethh don't hide this in the tags
The four most interesting parts of time loop are when the person kills themselves for the first time, when they kill someone else for the first time (in a fuck around kind of way, this doesn't count if they already were killing people outside of the loop), how they break the loop, and the weeks afterward where they loose their fucking minds in an entirely different, significantly more damaging to the world around them way. And yet I rarely see anything done with that last one. People leave time loops and are all happy go lucky 'oh boy'. Where's the grappling with people you know who will never know you? Where's the knowledge that the safety of the loop is gone, and you can't fix any mistakes you make? That's the good angst I want

I feel cheated. no one on Reddit told me that tumblr is a serotonin factory. Keep liking and reblogging my posts please thanks

one of the funnier incidents of me assuming someone knew a meme irl was when a new coworker was talking about some woman who got arrested for tax fraud and I went "God forbid women do anything" and he got scared and thought I was accusing him of being sexist, so he started apologizing and saying how tax fraud isn't even bad, actually.
"I learned a lot from making this" is artist talk for "making this sucked ass and I'm not entirely happy with the result."
