I spoke about it briefly on stream today but it's worth re-iterating here too
I was only aware of one situation between Avid and another creator(s), which I was learned about pretty much after the dust had already settled. Both sides had laid it to rest and were steering clear of one another.
This sudden revelation that it wasn't an isolated incident and happening to most people in their orbit was a shock.
I seem to have avoided all of this scenario as I was never close with Avid/Marm. I've literally only interfaced with them during content and any team meeting calls for Misadventures, Vampires and Flight SMP. In Flight specifically I was never seeking them out for chit-chats or roleplay, but if I stumbled upon them I would engage because it'd be strange in character to just u-turn ya know. So you've all seen the vast majority of my interactions with them.
I'm obviously still pissed off that my friends and collaborators have been hurt (some incredibly deeply) and they all know I'm here for them as an ear should they need it, but hopefully this chapter is behind all of us swiftly. I'm hopeful that the healing process will be helped along by the fact that they've ejected themselves from the MCYT space. It means there isn't a constant reminder or injustice being thrust on their FYP or timeline constantly.
Last note, I've seen way too many people have been kicking themselves for not knowing any of this from a viewer perspective, btu how would you? I'm behind the scenes and it was mostly obscured from me too. Your standing with creators is often just 'i make silly thing, you enjoy watching silly thing' - you've no other evidence to understand their motives or movements off camera. You can only judge and inform yourself with what you're presented. So go easy on yourselves mkay?

debut of my new martyn design. ignore that halfway through i realized i drew his legs wrong. whoopsie.
anyway, since my interpretation of Doc has a prosthetic leg (you can't see it here, but it's there), I figured he'd have some experience using crutches... also cause he's... a doctor.... and Martyn doesn't seem like the kind of guy to use a mobility aid right first time around. hence this drawing.
The rarepair propaganda continue! They make me so happy for real. I can imagine that happen, especially since even in my fanfic i kinda makes Martyn not really respecting Leg instructions x)
I believe I've figured out why my eyes are so unsettling!
I think it may have something to do with them being very large, while not having any "prey animal" qualities. No matter how wide open they are, there is still sharp intent behind them, instead of fear or uncertainty.
That is my hypothesis, at least. I will let you decide if it has any validity.

saw a YouTuber say that the reason transphobia exists is because "cisgender men see trans people, trans women really, because they don't really care about trans men or non-binary people, as men who are willingly devaluing themselves by becoming feminine" which isn't a direct quote but I'm paraphrasing. But he did actually say transphobes don't care about trans men and non binary people. And it pissed me off.
like, that is a part of transphobia. That is a very specific kind of transphobia trans women experience. I'm not going to deny that. But it's not the only kind. And it's not even the primary kind.
Cis people see trans men as women who are devaluing themselves. You see the "perfectly young girls mutilating their own bodies" rhetoric that floats around. They do care about trans men. Especially when they're young.
They care about nonbinary people because you see them complain about "people with blue hair and pronouns who identify as attack helicopters". They do care about non-binary people. They're actually one of their main targets. Because they think non-binary people are hilarious.
They're transphobic to everyone.
Like I'm tired of cis "allies" willingly and explicitly overlooking trans men's issues. And non bianary ppls issues. If you're only going to advocate for a third of the trans community, you are not an ally for all trans people.

By the some of the song that are slightly romantic I think it is just how i headcanon tf!Legundo... he crave validation and affection as much that he is scare to be used so his feeling for him always look like a double edged sword.
Can't quite put into words my rage at the refusal to call trans men MEN sometimes. A trans man is on the news talking about how he was assaulted at school and all of the comments are about "trans people". Comments saying they're scared of being treated that way but no sympathy for the man who was. Comments saying "things are getting bad for trans people!" meanwhile trans men have been treated this way forever with no care at all about it from the community at large.
Trans men who are killed and misgendered in the news with no trans people speaking out for them. "Why do transphobes ignore trans men?" the only reason you think this is because trans men are buried under the term "trans people" but not even treated as people at all, just defense shields to warn other trans people about what could happen to them. I've scrolled through entire comment sections just trying to find someone acknowledging trans male identities when they're oppressed (which is always obviously) but nothing. When we are assaulted and killed, we're all trans people. When we are having a peaceful moment in our lives, we are cis men who can't recognize our male privilege. I'm tired.
When we are assaulted WE ARE NOT JUST A CASUALTY FOR OTHER TRANS PEOPLES SUFFERING. This is our REALITY. HAVE SOME EMPATHY
This is why i hate people that say transandrophobia and misandry doesn't exist. Because it does exist, but they prefer being cosy in their hate of men and masculinity rather than acknowledging that a lot of transfemenism is just extremely anti Trans men and masculinity. If we have the audacity to say anything we are "transmansplaining" and "taking the space of trans fem voice" uh.
i've voiced my problems with this before but, like, it's still deeply strange and also indicative of a Lot Of Things that people feel comfortable saying "men aren't oppressed." because what does this mean. that's a group of people. do you mean, albeit still misguidedly, "maleness isn't oppressed"? you can't treat a demographic of people like a trait. there are other demographics of people within that. i think we devolved from "misogyny is when women/people are oppressed for being (perceived as) women" to "misogyny is when women are oppressed" at some point there.

I know a lot of people will pick up on all the linez in " a conversation about identity " about bein ' unsure of who u even are , but some of the linez also highlight Bubbles seemin ' worried about lettin ' themselvez be close to anyone . Remember how in Episode 9 she was strayin ' away from the group when everyone went to go help Tim ? An ' Tim ( or the corruption ig ? ) seemed to be tryin ' to isolate Bubbles from the group , probably cuz he seemz the most vulnerable due to bein ' wary of the otherz in the academy .
It feelz like Bubbles may not feel wanted cuz of the group seemin ' so closely connected to eachother even when they ' re not around , so she doesn ' t alwayz pick up on when people do notice her ≽^◞ ˕ ◟^≼
