This slow cooker rotisserie chicken is very juicy and flavorful, and it doesn't take much work to make it. Great for a dinner with no trouble!
Ingredients: 1 whole chicken about 4-5 lbs. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 teaspoons paprika. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon dried rosemary. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
Instructions: Clean the chicken with water and dry it with paper towels. For a spice rub, put olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and mix them together. Spread the spice mix out on the chicken so that it is covered all over. Put the chicken in the slow cooker so that the breast side is facing up. Set the timer for 34 hours on high or 6-7 hours on low. Cover and cook until the chicken is soft and cooked all the way through. If you want the skin to be really crispy, you can put the chicken on a baking sheet and broil it in the oven for three to five minutes. After the chicken is done, let it rest for a few minutes before cutting it up and serving it.
