This blog is treated like a journal, I tend to repost things that talk to me at the time. This could be related to my mental health, disabilities, witchcraft practice, or simply just something I saw and thought. Hey, I like that I'm gonna repost it.

Please feel free to send any questions related to Witchcraft I've been practicing for around 16ish years now and always happy to share knowledge and recieve it. Sorry, while I am a mom myself, I'm not comfortable conversing with minors online so you will be ignored.
Witchcraft
First and foremost, if you are here to attempt to get me to repent for my sins or find God, you might wanna read the room.
Bit about me and my practice, I'm chaotic if the name doesn't give it away. I dont seem to follow one set "standard" of practice, so to speak. I was raised with a spiritual mindset by my mother though she didn't branch out into witchcraft or paganism until I was around 21 years old, funnily enough she came to me on advice on where to begin.
Now to cut down on the writing and long story over my years of practice I have endured a lot of trauma, mental health challenges, physical health challenges and I do think what you go through in life can effect your practice and perhaps the choices you make.
I have been baneful, with no regret due to the actions and choices the person or persons have made towards myself & others in the past, and I would happily do it again. I focus a lot on protection, retribution, self-love, manifestation, Occultism, Mediumship, Deity worship, Divination.
Currently attempting to compile all my 16 ish years of notes and writings into more of an organised situation.
I am NOT wiccan, nothing against those that follow that path it's just not for me.
This is not a post about using ai in witchcraft, which is the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard genuinely. This is about the way witchcraft spaces and the people in them are interacting.
I have been practicing for many years, ive read a lot of books, and because of this people tend to come to me with a lot of questions. just a few years ago people would ask me things like, "how do i get started with energy sensing and manipulation" "what are good sources for witchcraft in x religion/culture" and i was happy to help, i love to answer questions.
Now i get significantly more questions, but the questions are " what does this tarot spread mean" "is aphrodite angry at me since my candle flame moved?" "why did my ceramic plate break when i lit a pile of dry herbs on fire on it" (thats a real question i got, which they then ignored the scientific explanation for and blamed hermes instead) "i saw a deer outside, in texas, in the spring, is that a sign?"
you know what else? ill say "start with this book" sometimes i even give them a pdf, and they say, "i dont really read books." so i go "ok heres a really good in depth video on it" and they say "but thats 45 minutes long."
and i have been very deeply upset about this, and ive thought "what is happening to this community where people are getting just plain stupid?" and then the other day it clicked for me. These people are using me like chat-gpt. theyre asking me these bizarre, either wildly vague or hyper specific questions about minute things, and expecting a short, currated response. this behavior is so strange, they pull a card and instead of reading the symbolism, or the little white book, they pick up their phone and open discord or tumblr or whatever and ask people like me. its this bypassing of thought, of intuition, of critical thinking.
i dont have a solution, but i needed to point this out as a sanity check or psa or whatever you'd call this.
My version of paganism and witchcraft is saying good morning to the sun and a giving the moon a goodnight kiss. Itâs thanking the earth for providing. Itâs being as gentle as I can with the planet weâve been given (itâs our only one yall please). Itâs collecting rocks and shells from the ocean and rivers. Paganism has never been about forcing yourself into a box. No religion should ever be that way.
I haven't posted in a while though it's kinda sad coming back especially to the Witchy side of Tumblr and it is just a cascade of AI info graphics.
I'm all for people researching things however they please, though seeing the AI slop coming into spirituality and spell work. No. Eww.
If you're reading this as a new person dabbling in the craft please be wary of these AI posts because apparently they are taking over like ivy takes a house except it's not pretty.
Sincerely a 30 year old witch that's tired of the internet bullsh*t narrative given to Witchcraft.
A cyanometer is a device used to measure the intensity of blue in the sky, often used in meteorology and atmospheric studies. It typically consists of a series of blue color patches or a color gradient, allowing the user to compare the skyâs color to these reference colors.
[Image Description: A bright blue art piece. A two headed wolf faxes the veiwer. The right head barks and cries, its paw stepping away from the left head. It wears a bright red collar and leash, which the left head tugs at with tears in its eyes. Glitchy white text at the top reads "we can't stay here". End ID]
they say you can't pour from an empty cup but i've been doing it my whole life and aside from all of these mysterious ailments it's working out great for me
I'm starting a small archive this year of high res poster variants (and some new designs) that people can download and print themselves.
Full color and high quality prints will still be available on the shop, but accessibility of my art is one of my priorities for this year, so these options will be here too! You can also support via Ko-Fi if you feel so inclined!
