HAT-VENTURE - A 2D Demake of AHiT, now with Prototype Demo!

"Hat Kid's back, in one less dimension! When the mysterious and "radical" overlord Timmy steals the Time Pieces--hourglasses that allow time travel--it's up to Hat Kid to get them back! Use your wits, dive, and hats to explore the lands and get those Time Pieces back!"

Hat-Venture was a concept I thought up back in 2020, eventually deciding to work on it as a full project with friends. However, as time went on we realized we could not continue development as planned, and decided to release the demo we had initially created for the world to enjoy.

We've also released the source code for the game--meaning fans can edit the game in any way they see fit, so long as it fits the same license and rules used for the original demo.

IM BACK, WHAT

Hey there! I'm sure some of you remember my old account brawlersinthezone, back when I was heavily into the Undertale fandom and goofed around Tumblr years ago. However, that site has long since been hidden away, and I figure it's time to hop back on to the typical hellsite shenanigans and see what I've missed after all this time. Beats Twitter, anyway. The rundown on what I've been up to since then:

Got to work on Indie Pogo for things like skins, and such. Even helped redesign their website a bit

Finished high school, did college. That was. Meh

Did an internship with Aether Studios (Rivals of Aether, Dungeons of Aether, etc.) back early 2021

Have since picked up a full-time job there and am working as a pixel artist and animator on said projects

So yeah--I've had my hands full. But I've got plenty to show off, and I'm hoping you all can stick around a bit to see what I've been working on. Of course, if you have any questions about Rivals of Aether, its development, or anything else, drop me a line--I can't promise I can answer everything due to NDAs but I'd love to talk about the process. Thanks all!
