At first, he won’t know how to handle someone being so openly flirtatious with him, especially not his MA.
It’s going to catch him off-guard, and he will probably rebuff your flirtatious behavior by scoffing, pushing you away, and avoiding you.
“Ugh, what’s wrong with you? Stop that. Don’t think I don’t know what you’re doing.”
He will suspect you have ulterior motives at first.
“Stop trying to flatter me. It won’t work.”
He’s used to trying to gain the upper hand by belittling people, teasing people, giving people pet names… But your flirting and teasing puts him on the defensive and makes him flustered.
Some of this will stem from his own insecurity - he won’t know if you are treating him like this out of a genuine attraction to him, or if you’re just playing with him.
He will NOT like to feel played with. He wants to be the one in control. At some point he will likely confront you about this and demand to know what your intentions actually are.
If you have genuine interest in him and don’t flirt with anyone else, he will love the attention you give him, even if it embarrasses him somewhat.
“Nhh… Shut up, not so loud. Yes, I do like when you do that… Ugh, just don’t do it here, someone might see—”
If you have a genuine interest in him but are just as flirty with everyone as you are with him, you’re going to have a tough time with this guy. He will be extremely possessive of you and confrontational with you and with anyone else you’re flirting with.
