5001 being divisible by 3 doesnt feel right
Shortcuts to determine if an integer is divisible by:
This is a given.
If the last digit is divisible by 2 (a.k.a. even), then so is the whole number.
If the sum of the digits is divisible by 3, then so is the whole number. The recursivity of this means that if the sum has multiple digits, you can add them up again until you get a single digit and see if it's 3, 6, or 9.
Like the rule for 2, but check if the last two digits are divisible by 4.
If it ends in 5 or 0.
If the rules for both 2 and 3 apply.
No shortcut. Alas.
Like the rules for 2 and 4, but check if the last three digits are divisible by 8. (Yes, this pattern keeps going for 16, 32, etc.)
Like the rule for 3, but the sum of the digits (or the sum of the sum of the digits, etc.) must be 9.
If it ends in 0.
#THIS POST IS WRONG 7 DOES HAVE A RULE FOR HOW TO TELL IF THE NUMBER IS DIVISIBLE#it's just. not a short cut#you're better off dividing it and seeing if you get a whole number than doing the method
but what IS the rule @anqelbean ???
Okay, so, basically, you remove the least important digit of the number (which is the first digit from the right), you double it, and then subtract it from the remaining number. If the number you get is still large, you do it again.
For example, 294
29 4
4Ă2=8
29-8=21
21 is divisible by 7
Second example, 1946
194 6
6Ă2=12
194-12=182
182 is still large, so let do it again
18 2
2Ă2=4
18-4=14
14 is divisible by 7
religion is so fucking funny the world is just too beautiful there must be a higher entity behind all this. lets oppress women

when men are like âwomen need to be nicer and more complimentary to menâ i CRINGE! why donât MEN get more complimentary to men. start telling your friends you want to fuck them. donât make women pick up YOUR slack
people are commenting like âyeah we need to support healthy friendships and boost menâs self esteemâ i donât care about that tbh i just think everyone should be gayer
I went to the zoo with my mom and as we were walking along a path, I saw a guy a few feet ahead of us whip out his vape pen and fucking vape. At the zoo. Just, really???
But my mom is asthmatic and doesnât give a shit, so she went right up to him and said, âDude, thereâs no vaping here. Are you serious? Put that away. There are kids here.â The guy was shocked and looked butthurt, but said nothing because, yeah, he could get kicked out for doing that! Lol. I canât remember if I mentioned this on my blog already, but I was at the doctorâs office a couple months ago and a guy started vaping in the waiting room. Of course, he was told to stop. The increase in anti-social behavior is just nuts, like come the fuck on. These were two middle-aged men, they knew vaping wasnât allowed at the zoo or fucking doctorâs office, and there are so many people who smoke on the subway and subway platforms now despite no smoking signs being plastered everywhere. I took the subway 5 days a week during college and there was next to no smoking, but I feel like it stinks of smoke every time I take the subway now
I know thereâs a certain kind of terminally online poaster who acts like the public should just put up with blatantly anti-social behavior (and in the case of smoking, a public health risk), but here in the real world, being an asshole in public spaces is frowned upon lol. People who vape everywhere are particularly obnoxious, too
it really is kind of interesting how attached people are to the idea of the improvised line and the genuine reaction in film. nearly every single famous moment or line has some sort of claim floating around that it wasn't in the script and was either made up on the spot by an actor or was sprung as a surprise on the actors to get their 'real' reaction. you know, sometimes people do come up with good lines in advance and write them down, and sometimes people can pretend to be have a convincing emotional response on screen
Can anyone explain wtf is going on here especially a Korean speaker
someone on reddit explained đ
That is one of the most astronomical fuck up translations I have ever seen.
Remember! When companies lay off all their staff because AI is cheaper, this sort of shit is what you can leverage for a better contract when they are inevitably forced to hire everyone back :)
