When Hal Jordan is miraculously returned to life with the Spirit of Redemption lifted from him, he thinks he understands why. Then the Presence takes his older brother from him, returns the ring he used to commit untold atrocities and leaves him to care for a niece he didn't even know he had, and suddenly, that illusion is shattered. As Helen slowly reveals herself to be more than a normal girl and the memories of the soul he'd left behind start impacting his new life, Hal must learn to accept the man he once was or risk never becoming who the world and, more importantly, Helen need him to be.
