This plea is so frustrating and disheartening.
I am biased because I love Trigun, but also Trigun Stampede is objectively good.
It breaks my heart that it’s not getting the attention it deserves. The creators have poured SO much love and attention and effort into this adaptation. It is one of the most thoughtful, well-executed series I have seen in a long time.
If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly, HIGHLY encourage you to carve out 23 minutes of your day and give the first episode a go. The show absolutely slaps right out of the gate. The first episode has so much character, you will fall in love immediately.
I’m really tired of high-quality shows that I’m in love with getting tossed in the bin because they’re not immediately huge commercial successes. I don’t want to see that happen to Stampede. It’s too good.
i am biased as heck in terms of trigun and tristamp. both show are AMAZING. but objectively speaking, it is GOOD. the story is promising, the animation (although CGI) is one of the best CG ever animated so far. (we all know about berserk and ex-arm but i'm asking you to be open minded with tristamp and it won't be dissapointing if you just want to give it a tiny sip) this is coming from someone that is extra picky about cgi, as in i often don't want to watch specific anime if they use too much CG in it and the CG work is a mess. but trigun stampede is pretty much VERY FAR FROM THAT TYPE OF CG. honestly if you're tired or just bored of many anime protagonist going wild off and defending their beliefs in this super rough and wild way, fight this and that, left and right, "justice must be served" type of protag, trigun is a nice change of story telling and characterization of characters. (i'm not saying they're "novel" with it, but with the current anime series and stories, trigun/tristamp is a very nice change of pace) i think the biggest example for now is demon slayer? how they humanize the demons behind their wrong doings (as they are essentially people, human) and how tanjiro as a protag is very compasionate too to his enemies and at the end of the day he just wants what's best for everyone and he wants to protect his sister. with that in mind, fellas i think you will also love Vash The Stampede. TLDR : tristamp animation is really good, the story is very promising (let them cook guys i promise episode 12 will pay it off), they are very detailed in the world building of tristamp as they add more detail than 98 trigun so if you love the tiny bits of lore like that it's very interesting. love and peace guys, have a nice ride watching tristamp.
