I am finally remedying the mistakes of my forefathers (my middle school self) and attempting to shove my blog back onto the main one bc I decided all my fan content would be on a sideblog. I will free myself from the burdens of “yeah the blog I use most is technically a sideblog” and be reborn free. And also remake my master post.

TMNT Guardians, HAMATO RAPHAEL‼️‼️
Took some time but here's my boy!! I have so many drawings of him and Mona, so I gotta reveal her soon, too, with the next wave of portraits
The second youngest, the fighter, the fire. Raph is the younger of the twins, also at 16, when the story starts. Raph is the first brother who doesn't have some sort of major obligation weighing down on him (Leo and the guardianship, Donnie and raising his brothers), so he is more freer in spirit. Raph is incredibly skilled in combat and has an innate passion for studying different martial arts styles, from ancient to modern. He spends a lot of his time reading (books and comics alike) and training. Because of no proper role model for good emotional management, Raphs anxiety and issues manifest into anger and aggression, in usual Raph fashion. Even so, he cares very deeply. Raph holds a lot of respect for Leo and became a frequent second opinion when they work together, but even Raph cant always see eye to eye with him. Raph doesn't hate the Guardianship and he doesn't hate Splinter, but he doesn't like it, either. He tries to have a relationship with his dad but its weak and flimsy, as Splinter doesn't have the same drive. Him and Mikey are very close, him and Donnie are incredibly close but they dont always feel like twins, and Raph is somewhat close to Leo, as they share similar passions of combat-related success and can bond through training, but he isnt as close with him as the others. He eventually becomes best friends with Casey Jones, naturally.
Season 3 is a big season for Raph >:) it will challenge his tendency to aggression and take away the one thing he relied on: his fire. Stay tuned for that! (Season 3 is my fav, just yall wait)
TMNT Guardians, HAMATO DONATELLO‼️‼️ 1 month later after posting him on Instagram, I realized I never posted him on Tumblr... whoops!
I keep forgetting his glasses💀
The second oldest, the medic, the caretaker. Donnie is the second oldest, a few mutation-minutes older than Raph, at 16 when the story starts. Due to Splinters role as Guardian and Leo's emotional distance, Donnie was unfortunately the parentified brother. He cooks for his family and helps guide Raph and Mikey through their day to day lives. He is incredibly intelligent and tech-savvy, leading him to be insanely knowledgeable about mutant health, so he takes care of everyone as best he can, healing wounds and sickness alike. When he's not taking care of his family or training, hes researching and learning and building gadgets, in usual Donatello fashion. He is kind, but stern when necessary, and most of all, he is a hater. Donnie despises the Guardianship and what it's done and has no kind view on Splinter, with very few graces given to him. My favorite little bit about Donnie is that he is terrified of humans. Not like anti-social, I mean SCARED. Upon meeting April and Casey, its real bumpy for him. But, he gets a very close relationship with April and shes able to guide him to living a life where he isnt dedicating himself to his brothers.
I was looking at some of your tmntu designs and Mona really reminded me of a gila monster! Was that intentional?
hii!! no that wasn’t intentional but I totally see where you saw that!! :O I based her off of eastern tiger salamanders ^_^ although I do tweak her design a lot tbh and have been thinking of changing her to a fire salamander
