My headcanon…

So, Tonks’ patronus used to be a jack rabbit, yeah? And don’t wolves chase rabbits, yeah? And Remus’ patronus was a wolf, yeah? So, for the whole of Ootp, I reckon that Tonks’ patronus didn’t change because Remus was there, with her (flirting with her) etc. And then in Hbp, when Remus goes, he is no  longer the wolf chasing, because he is running, and so now Tonks has to be the wolf who chases. Maybe when they got together her patronus changed back? Just my thoughts…
