Koda curled himself against Souma's back, letting his head rest in a colorful mane. He was feeling a bout of self-consciousness. It happened on occasion, and right now it was particularly bad. He wasn't feeling quite good enough today. Not a good enough hero, not a good enough person and- honestly not a good enough significant other. Souma could be with anyone, he was so devastatingly attractive and perfect. Why settle for someone like himself? How long could this really last?

    Souma loves cuddling like this. He doesn’t have to worry about his horn like this, or if his hooves may end up nicking Koda. All he had to do, was lay there and enjoy the warmth his partner gave off. But something felt off today. Something with Koda. No, no, no, that’s not allowed- not while Souma was here to make it better. He turns over onto his back and frowns at Koda.

    “Babe- what’s up?” He asks. No point in beating around the bush. “Something’s wrong.”
