Teaching my little sister (who is also neurodivergent) math really opened my eyes to how unfair tests are to kids who struggle interpreting meaning in sentences (such as people with adhd and autism). So often questions are phrased like garden path sentences with confusing information order and misleading starts. Where what is said and what is actually asked of the student are different and must be interpreted. I never realized just how much I was putting myself in the question writers shoes to try and think what they want to test me on and are asking of me.

this author is disgusting. i can’t believe they would kill off their character in that last chapter, who would want to write such a thing? they must be a murderer in real life too and it’s horrible that no one else sees that, you people have no morals. ao3 shouldn’t allow characters to die, death is bad and this person wrote about death, so they’re a horrible person. death is a bad thing after all, who would want to write or read about that? surely a murderer. and why would you make that character poor? being poor is bad, you like it so much when people are poor that you want to write about it? seriously, these people suck. let’s go upset ourselves by reading more fanfictions that make us uncomfortable so we have something to complain about, it’s not like the feelings of the people writing these are any more important than the fictional characters, after all, is someone who writes about murder really worth any empathy at all? i don’t think so, everything is about me, you see.
