Like, imagine: you meet a friendly face, she's a Little Much, but she's an enemy of the prototype, and an ally to you she mentions offhandedly (or even in place of the tape you get of Giblet trying to spare people in the Hour of Joy) that the other toys all, with the exception of Poppy, seem to hate her and she doesn't know why. You go through the chapter with her helping you, gradually learning about Ms Gracie and all that fun stuff, and then you meet the Prototype. And he tells you exactly why he hates your 'friend'. Or, better yet, tells her exactly why he hates her.

Like the chapter could've done so much fun stuff reckoning with the ol reliable 'amnesiac villain turned hero is confronted with the terrible things they did before losing their memories' with the super fun extra layer of 'and the reason she can't remember anything is because the villain she's the sympathetic backstory to turned her own brainwashing back on her', which is an insane concept to just use on a single chapter villain who you're given very little room to feel sympathy for, but hey what's Poppy Playtime if it's not introducing amazing concepts and then sprinting right past them to the next one-

The last part I said was to kinda make some of you realize that you are the only one who can handle it, not someone who’s asking you to friend them over on discord to “discuss the appeal” like they’ve been doing for a while now. If they say “I can help you appeal” or “please send a message to x recipient” then it’s absolutely a scam. The only person you should be talking to is tumblr staff through their support page.

Again if they ask you to send a friend request to a supposed “support” account then you’re likely getting hacked.

You *can* potentially act stupid and ask the scammer for the username so you can look it up and report it but I’d honestly just block and move on. They’ll delete the blog most likely after seeing that it didn’t work.

I’m very sure that that blog is completely empty or else they would’ve shown me something. no. vasttrailsiege is the scammer account. this individual is trying to freak out anyone who receives this message by telling them their "stolen identity" is associated with illegal material, in the hope that the victim contacts a Tumblr support impersonator in an attempt to steal the victim's account. there is no actual csam involved; it is a way of causing panic in the victim.
