(Just wanted to say a few words about how insanely obsessed I am with the period when Maxwell and Wilson theoretically talked over the radio. It literally plays on my heartstrings SO DAMN HARD. I’ve never seen anyone else as fixated on this 'radio era' as I am…… The fact that through these conversations, Wilson might have found someone he could truly consider close—the only one who actually appreciated his potential, especially since he’d isolated himself from society. And even if (obviously) Maxwell did it for personal gain (maybe not even realizing how massive his influence over him was), he COULD HAVE EASILY poured fuel on the fire by telling Wilson how brilliant he was, like the coolest scientist in the world. And Wilson would be like 'YES! Exactly, finally someone gets it!' Plus, the whole thing with Maxwell promising forbidden knowledge (not to mention that official picture WITH THE APPLE, if it weren't for that picture, I wouldn’t even be here), and their entire partnership dynamic, which basically implies guidance and such… The way it feels so elevated, reverent, and full of yearning to me—I’M GOING TO LOSE MY MIND) (sorry)
