@dippiehippie
So today this kid yelled Nani the fuck?!? in the middle of a test and I felt compelled to share this to the world.
teachers, share the weird crap your kids have done!
I’m not a teacher (yet) but I do work with students and one of them had the nerve to look me dead in the eye and ask me “why would it be a bad idea for me to eat this entire marker?” They’re 11
An 4th grader asked for a high five by saying, “A little slappy to make daddy happy?”
I did not give him a high five.
A student during break had her head in her arms and was shaking a bit, so i asked the kid next to her whether she was laughing or crying and this 8 year old stared me in the eye deadpan and said “im crying on the inside”
Wait i take that back, I cant believe i forgot about the time i brought in a small stuffed octopus as a class mascot because why tf not. It was a class of high schoolers and i didnt imagine theyd actually care much, but one student snuck in a snack and gave it to the octopus as a tribute. Which led to other students doing the same thing, until every day there was a pile of of offerings to Fweej the Overseer, mostly consisting of things like string cheeses and small bags of chips, but sometimes there wouldd be a couple bucks in quarters, one kid brought in some giant pocky i think, and at one point there was a cold stone gift card. This stuffed octopus gained a cult following.
Later i brought in another stuffed octopus that looked exactly the same but bigger and told the class that Fweej the Overseer accepted their offerings and became stronger. These highschoolers lost their goddamn minds.
So Ive been going through the notes of this post and it seems Fweej the Overseer is pretty popular with tumblr as well. So I dug through facebook and found photos for yall. Special thanks to @sakoyo, who was my TA and made the facebook posts, thus keeping the record and immortalizing his legacy.
Fweej lives on 🙌🐙🙌
you started a cult to a tentacled entity with a name not matching the orthography of any human language. Congrats on becoming the villain of a pulp fantasy story.
The legend must continue
reblog with an offering to Fweej the Overseer
this is so cute and wholesome and I'm dead over it I'm crying
how is this real
Greece
I've seen quite a few photos or videos of a setup like this, most attributed to Greece. I honestly don't understand how this works like.. what do you do if it storms? Just drown?
@rebellum This is important so I tried to answer it. I don’t have a definitive scientific answer to this but it does generally work out without problems. First of all, Greece is located at the closed side of the Mediterranean Sea basin and it is not upon an open ocean so the waves it gets, even when very big, they never reach the monster waves of the oceans. Also, for similar reasons, Greece doesn’t get hurricanes or tsunamis. It only gets medicanes which is a type of Mediterranean cyclone that at its worst is still mild compared to a hurricane. A tsunami is technically possible after huge earthquakes (knock wood) but extremely rare. (Saw in a site it has occurred 24 times since 142 AD and most were small).
Of course Greece does get occasional windstorms but they are usually in the winter when most tourists are gone. These can cause damages or inconvenience but not deaths unless shit really hits the fan IDK. Greeks themselves get experienced with the water from toddler age. They just learn to live like that, especially in the islands. Those buildings in Mykonos such as in the video above are an extreme case of proximity to the sea and they are nowadays used as cafes, not as houses. The owner might live in the second storey or in another house farther inland. Also, weather doesn’t really change rapidly in Greece so we are warned when bad weather is coming and these cafes certainly stay closed and sealed.
But before the touristic development started, sure, Greeks used to live in these houses and they did alright :) You should see videos of Greek islanders getting in the ship for Athens in bad winter weather. They literally go flying upon the jumping ship with all the suitcases at hand lol They are used to that.
Long story short, there is no probability of death in this scenario (some buildings also have side doors away from the sea after all) but of course it might cause anxiety to people who can’t swim. Just making this clear, Greece might not get massive tides but still this doesn’t mean non- or inexperienced swimmers shouldn’t take precautions at all times. Mykonos for instance is a windy island but there are windless beaches in many places around Greece, ideal for such people.

It’s actually impossible to skip breakfast because no matter when you wake up from sleeping your next meal/food will break your fast.
He had me in the first half, not gonna lie
today Meatball abruptly realized that there are refugee office plants in the kitchen (they have been there for weeks) and has decided his singular purpose in life is to eat them
we put up a 4 foot tall step-through baby gate when we brought the plants home, but it turns out he can actually squeeze his body through the bars. not in a dignified way, mind you. but he can
we have foiled him with a two-gate system: a short one with small openings that he can’t squeeze through, and the tall one that he can’t jump over. he is now sitting outside our kitchen door rattling the gates with his stupid little mitten hands like an animated ghost prisoner in a Spirit Halloween decoration
update: we underestimated him
why are your doors closed to the public
is this the same Meatball with the Hanukkah sweater????
it sure is
you may also know him as the Meatball who tried to jump into my toilet and the violent sweatervest-wearing accountant cat
tiny accountant harasses human, eats plants
i mean he has to find some way to unwind from his high-pressure job
update:
So how do you guys… get in there anymore?
well my original game plan was opening the white gate and kind of shoving my body through the gap between the wood gate and the grey gate and i am excited to announce that this was not a good idea at all
update: was woken up at 7 AM this morning by Meatball repeatedly taking a running leap at the gates, bouncing off the top one, and then sitting on the floor outside the kitchen beeping confusedly
this is our current game plan. stay tuned
please continue to give us updates this is the funniest post on this site
omg i found this video on youtube called “elk hunting chihuahua” and the guy is like “make sure you have a good hunting dog” and just opens his backpack to reveal his lil chihuahua named coco and tells us how amazing she is at hunting
and then he just whips her out and says “you gotta have one of these things, they can track, and they’re just the best hunting dogs in the world” and that was the whole video and honestly i’ve never wanted a chihuahua more in my life
IM CRYING HES HOLDING HER LIKE AN ORANGE
