The Year is 2015

You just woke up to your Kanye West “Good Morning” alarm, ready to take on another day of your junior year of High School. You take a few hits out of your bowl before eating cereal and going to school stoned malone. Eager to see where the day will bring you this time. Great Video Games like MGSV, Witcher 3, and Fallout 4 are the hottest trend. Animated shows like Gravity Falls and Steven Universe had just hit their prime. People are doing whips and naynays instead of twerking now, too. Life is good.

Okay I’m gonna say it

Steven Universe Future was shite and wasn’t needed at all. The original show ended it perfectly as it was. None of the questions I had since Season 1 got answered.... such a damn shame. I wanted to know what was in the chest inside Lion’s Mane, I wanted to see the Cluster actually do something more than become a hand, I wanted to hear more about the origin of gems, and so much more.. the shit we got was fucking weak and was begging to be put out of it’s misery by the end of Future. Steven getting corrupted was sooo short-lived he didnt even do any real damage. Stayed in one location the entire episode... yawn. Oh and how do we get him uncorrupted? By love lmfao. That didn’t help poor centipeedle back in Season 1. Honestly man fuck SU Future and the movie. Both weren’t needed and the show should have stayed dead with “Change your Mind”. That was the perfect ending for the show. What we got instead with SU Future blew major chunks. Not to say there wasn’t stuff I liked in SU Future, but it wasn’t enough to justify it’s existence. Jasper got shattered for quite literally no good reason, which is a damn shame. Even her final line was just.... meh. I really wish Future was never made. Feels too much like a cash-grab at this point like a mobile app. Glad it’s finally dead. Just wish it could have had a more meaningful ending. Okay rant over

So... where’s that Obsidian DLC, Grumpyface?

If I recall correctly, there was a secret playable character made for Steven Universe: Save The Light that’s planned to be released as DLC in the future. After the Season 5 finale of Steven Universe, one can assume that the secret character has to be either Obsidian, Bismuth, or Lapis. 

I have but one question, Grumpyface Studios. Where is it? I want me some Obsidian DLC goshdarnit. Even if it isn’t Obsidian and it’s Rainbow 2.0 or Sunstone or Lapis, please release this DLC! Having unreleased content gives your studio a bad reputation!

Pink Diamond is such an awful person

Is anybody else gonna comment on what an awful person Pink Diamond is? I'll admit to the good things she did like preserving life on Earth, but oh my gosh as the new episodes keep coming I keep on finding more reasons to hate her. She did way more damage outside of just the gem rebellion (White's Pearl? Yeah, don't think it's a coincidence it has that crack + used to belong to Pink) Not only did her rebellion kill and corrupt many, but her original plan after the corruption bomb was to stay away from Homeworld, period. Just.. run away from her problems. Not knowing of The Cluster. If Pink never had a wild "omg" interest in birth like she did of Earth and made Steven, nothing would have ever gotten resolved and the Earth would have been destroyed by The Cluster. Or she would have gotten captured by Jasper. Either way, I feel like if there's any antagonist to this series, it's her. She may mean well, but in the end she's a spoiled, selfish brat who won't have no when things don't go her way. I was hoping for a shy, wanting to be free kind of personality but she's just so much worse. It's truly a shame Steven has to try and make up for all of the messed up things she did, poor kid's just trying to grow up and has to worry about an alien invasion half his life.

That 4 episode finale was enough to make me want to buy that box set, man. I’m buying this shit as soon as it’s funded and available for pre-order.

Regular Show Finale (No spoiler review)

That was a damn good finale, man. I barely been keeping up with Season 8, but got the gist of what’s going on with the whole anti pops thing basically. The last 4 or so episodes were admittedly good, and sets up for the finale super well. The finale really is something you need to watch and experience for yourself, but it basically makes them going to space make alot more sense than it just happening randomly for money. I honestly predicted them going to Space as a joke when I heard something big was gonna happen at the end of Season 7. Who knew I’d be right... I thought it was dumb at first. But the finale makes things really tie together and not feel as dumb as some things once were. Don’t get me wrong, there were questions to be asked as well...

Can’t say I’m gonna miss Regular Show, because I’m extremely satisfied with how it ended and the final 4 episodes alone really makes the series shine as a whole. I mean face it guys, this show went on for 8 seasons. That’s a good lifespan for a show, leaving plenty of episodes for us to enjoy while it’s gone. I barely watched any of Season 7 tbh. Same can be said for most of Season 6. Still a good stock left behind in case I ever do miss it and wanna see something new. 

My personal rating for the finale would have to be a 9/10. It’s Regular Show, anything but.

Gravity Falls = Exposing the New Age?

Okay, so this might sound REALLY dumb, but please bare with me. 

The whole plot of Gravity Falls is basically about Stanford Pines being tricked by a “Spirit guide” named Bill Cipher. In The New Age, Spirit Guides are typically spawned when you mess with things like Astral Projecting, hypnosis, and even will reveal themselves in time if you asked, as long as it relates to “growing spiritually” in the New Age. Similarly to how Stanford had to read a incantation to spawn Bill Cipher. Incantations are usually defined as “a series of words used as a magic spell”. Sound anything like the New Age Spirit Guides....? Let’s continue.

As we dig even further, you’ll find out that Bill did everything a normal “Spirit guide” would do; give wisdom, make you feel like you were loved/accepted, and ultimately have no physical form, just a spiritual form. Like the “Spirit Guides” of the New Age, Bill Cipher did the exact same thing; offered Stanford “Guidance” and “Truth”, made him feel like he was accepted, and even boosted his ego in the process, leaving him to grow detached from McGucket and his loved ones over the course of his portal construction. Similarly to the New Age spirit guides, Bill turned out to be a demon who deceived Stanford for his own ulterior motive. Sounds VERY familiar to cases that relate to the exposure of the New Age stuff..

Is that possible though? Peridot is an Era 2 that “doesn’t have powers.” She already has ferrokennesis or whatever, the ability to regenerate, AND she is able to bubble things. Any more powers and her dialogue in Too Short To Ride is down the drain…

My money is betting that she can still fuse. Remember the one member of the Ruby squad who was the dim-witted one? She is more than likely a new gem, meaning she's an era 2 gem. Heck, she didn't even know who Pink Diamond was. Peridot can fuse.

Man, No Skies? No Land Beyond? Whaa? (My No Man's Sky initial thoughts/rant chant)

No Man’s Sky sounds REALLY good on paper… And I’m sure the procedurally generated worlds must be a sight to behold… But when the game was first revealed, I wasn’t really floored as most people were.

As much as I would love to wander aimlessly in the vast expanse of a universe… I just feel like the appeal of that would wear off rather quickly, especially if that whole exploration aspect doesn’t really hold “significance”, yknow? Factor in the whole “survival” aspect of gathering materials/resources, creating items, and item management… And it kinda just… Disrupts the overall flow of what it’s ultimately trying to accomplish.

Yeah, I wanna explore vast planets in a galaxy, and yeah… I wanna do all those epic ass space battles and run amok in a planet… But I also wanna do that and act a fool with at least, maaaybe one or two close friends as well? Then maybe it would give that whole “oh shit, I discovered/did something really cool and awesome” moment more of that “significance” or weight that I was talking about.

The game kinda just… Flew past my radar until a buddy of mine had brought up trading in his copy of Dark Souls 3 (stuuupid idea) for it. And like I had expressed to this fellow colleague and buddy… The game is a beautiful art piece. Something you can hang up on wall and appreciate in all of its technical marvel… But that’s really pretty much it :/

I know the game just came out, and they intend to release more updates that may possibly mitigate those little things that would push this game from the “okay” to “amazing” scale in my books… But yeah, only time will tell. I may just end up picking up the game for shits and gigz, and I may just end up loving it more than I had initially thought… But where I stand on it right now? It’s absolutely… Oh Kay in my books, lol.

For those who have the game and are already playing it, I’d really like to know what y'alls impressions are so far with the game. Absolutely loving it? Meeting what you had expected? Kind of a let down? Hating the star-trek (fuck you, I know you see what I did there, maaan… Haha) and having to battle the mundanity of resources hunting and item management? I (and I’m sure many others) would absolutely love to know.

You know, I was worried about how this game would turn out. I loved the concept, but didn't understand the premise. After playing it and successfuly traveling through my first star system, I can safely say this game is as big and immersive as everybody has said. The planet's environments can vary from being an icy world, a barren desert world with no life, a moon that shares lots of similarities to Earth, and many more. Some star systems will have many space stations and moons, some will not. The main premise, in the beginning, is to gather materials to repair your ship. It takes a while, it took me a few hours before I was able to leave my own star system. And you will literally start off anywhere when you first boot up the game. I started off in a cold, barren world full of life. As the game progresses, there will be these drone thingies that become more of a problem as you progress. That's all I can think of for now. The only cons this game has, is that the game doesn't give you enough space to hold items in your inventory. You have to hold space ship fuel, health for yourself, energy for the spacesuit, fuel for the boosters, there just isn't enough space in there for anything additional. But it's been an immersive and exciting experience playing the game. Which is all that matters to me. Hope you end up liking it!

Wait, what? I thought anon was wrong? At first, she tried to say that Steven and Bismuth would have a “teacher/student relationship” while Steven hid her from the gems. In the Bismuth promo, he did everything BUT keep Bismuth a secret from the gems.

Heck, this is coming from the same person who tried to say that the Gem Fusion experiments were made by Rose. But it’s been confirmed that Homeworld is responsible for the Gem Mutants, as seen in “When it Rains”. The same person who also said Bismuth would “Have a male appearance”, and “only know Rose and some of her backstory”. Yet Bismuth knows exactly who the Crystal Gems are though... and has a female appearance.

Also, I feel like I’m the only one who notices when the anon edits what they say a bit. For example, she used to say Pearl was defective because she had an oval-shaped gem. But she edited what she said, and now she’s saying that it doesn’t make Pearl defective. 

So what’s the takeaway here? Safely knowing that the anon who gave these “leaks” was just making stuff up. Little to none of it turned out to be true. Most are good theories, sure, but she’s been wrong way more times than she’s been right. Half of the stuff she predicted was just common sense to be honest..... I mean, she was right about a few of the things she predicted. Like Marty coming back, and Bismuth being unbubbled. But...... that’s it basically. Most of her predictions were just way off... don’t trust every leaker you meet. 

Take the anon leaks with a grain of salt, and just keep watching the new episodes. They’ve been on a hot streak, and it looks like it’s only going to get better. And lets not forget all the video leaks we were bombarded with on Tuesday... I STILL CANNOT WAIT FOR MONSTER REUNION TOO HYPED FOR THAT EPISODE

I fucking predicted this would happen! I told this to my friends when they were getting into the series. But once they finished they didn't think so because he "didn't have his healing powers". Bitch he still has it, and what was done in this video was never done before. So I thought it could because it healed connie's eyes. It wasn't a physical injury. Just an impairety. Same as what's done to Corrupted Gems, that bomb in "Same Old World" shows the blast. I could go into detail, but the point is Steven is going to save the motha-fucking day! If a big Homeworld threat comes, he can unbubble all the corrupted gems and have something of a large group to attack them with! I cannot wait to meet the centipeetle though!

Holy smokes, how will she react to the gems? Will she remember Pearl Garnet and Amethyst as a threat? Would she stay on Earth? I hope things work out! I fucking love this show.
