f'ing linocut? this image was made by carving each color layer and then printing them over each other.

ok i looked it up and hazel mcnab has a blog post going over the process here. i need to show you the process images so you really understand what you're looking at here and why its incredible.

every layer is a carving.

all those shapes are made by cutting the negative into a block, and printing that color on top of the previous layers

and this is the size of the original print, made by all these layers of ink

with the artist herself!

and that's why this being a physically printed linocut is incredible.
