I like to think that if they ever escape the circus there are certain habits they’ll all still have from being in the circus so long. Like Ragatha holding her three (middle, ring, and pinky) fingers together because they were all one in the circus. Or Gangle thinking she needs to keep her Comedy Mask safe when it’s not there anymore. Or Jax holding his jaw shut when he talks (?). Or Kinger forgetting his has arms LMAO. Or Zooble’s posture having the same arch/bend in their torso. Or Pomni (doesn’t feel as likely since she’s the newest maybe?) maybe forgetting she’s not wearing a jester hat.

TOKYO DEBUNKER SPOILERS

So who are people thinking the spy is now? I was suspicious if Haku for the longest time but he didn't have much to do with this last episode. I'm sadly sus of Sho now, when Tohma showed up to get help for the ga student sho said, "fucking ass hole... this isn't how it was supposed to go down..." At first I thought he was angry at Tohma. But then I started thinking he could be mad at Hyde. Maybe he knew Hyde replaced the demon arm with the monkey claw? I'm also sketch of Romeo. Maybe he helped Hyde obtain the demon arm, I'm almost certain the arm was in the briefcase Hyde was carrying. Sho and Romeo both meet with Hyde in secrecy and do missions for him. Lastly I can't shake off the vibes I get from Elias.

As much as it feels like Sho at this point, I don’t think it’s any of the first years + Luca and Lyca (forgot what year Lyca was put it in ngl… probably first) since the implication, at least to me, is that the spy came up after the clash before the new school year

HOWEVER I do think he could have gotten wrapped up into the spy shit after joining DW thanks to the fucker he unfortunately has to call brother

Imagery and Symbolism

It’s spaghetti hours

BIG episode 22 spoiler below

So this frame really stuck out to me and I kept coming back to it, so I figured I might as well dig into it

The left panel is very striking I’ve cut and reoriented it so both halves are “upright”

The image of the Virgin Mary so clearly reflected in the blood of the Kyklos with the Kyklos at the foot of the statue. At a quick glance it almost looks like a bouquet of flowers left at the base of the statue to venerate the Virgin Mary. In a lot of different Catholic stories both flowers and blood are associated with the Virgin Mary. In one of the most famous stories of her apparition- Our Lady of Guadalupe- made Castile roses grow on a barren hill in Mexico in the dead of winter as proof of her holy status and capability of creating miracles. There have been numerous claims of statues of the Virgin Mary spontaneously weeping blood (the Catholic Church investigates these seriously and many are determined to be hoaxes)

Idk MC didn’t have so say there was a statue of the Virgin Mary seemingly keeping watch over the garden. They didn’t need that much detail you know? They could’ve just said a solemn statue kept watch over the scene.

You also have MC almost mirroring Mary’s pose with the lowered head.

At this point I don’t believe anything is coincidental with these writers

As someone who was raised catholic (I’m not anymore tho) Mary is also often depicted to be stepping on a representative of the devil/Lucifer! Usually in the form of a serpent, the form he took in the garden of Eden. Considering the Kyklos’ placement in the frame it could be something like a foreshadowing of MC defeating the Kyklos/being cured of the curse! Or I’m delusional!

But I definitely feel like this is a reference to MC being a ‘Mary’ whatever that’s supposed to mean and potentially the kyklos being the devil or a demon! Like the pure force that needs to defeat evil of sorts.

And the mother symbolism. The MC is carrying this curse like a mother carrying a child. Despite her being unable to do anything about it, her body is the home it grows in until it’s “big” enough to “birth” and take over her body. (Pretty dark but I feel it’s true)

Idk I just thought it’d be a cool pov to bring up!
