On a serious note, this blog is to be seen as lighthearted. In the same vain as evil isthecatvideocute. If the hyaenaposting is a bit sparse it's likely because there's nothing of interest for me to reblog, but since I still like posting about syscourse here I might say a few of my own things. Even then, this blog is still for being silly! If i ever exceed someone's boundaries or make someone uncomfortable I would really appreciate it if you could let me know!

Truthfully, I do not inherently hate endogenics. I hate what the community is, though. The *vast* majority are horrible, pathetic beings.

Honestly if endogenics were cool and just chilled away from us there'd be no issues, so I guess that means I don't hate endogenics/the concept either! I agree with you on hating how they act

Fellow endos, I support you. But we must remember that, since we (most of us) are not medical, we should not use medical terms. That could cause confusion- say, you tell a doctor you are a system. They misinterpret that as you saying you have DID/OSDD/UDD and set you up with a therapist dedicated to those conditions. This would be not only be now what you need, but also taking away from DID/OSDD/UDD patients. So we've made a list of terms that don't have medical connotations that endos should use more! We also added alternative words for "Tulpa" because that is sometimes considered cultural appropriation. System -> collective, plural, community Alter -> headmate, mindmate, headfriend, member Fronting -> in control, in front Switching -> changing, transferring consciousness Inner World -> headspace Tulpa -> Thoughtform, mindform, mental creation

You aren't 'invalid' if you don't use these terms but we highly recommend doing so!

System -> group, set, company, batch, assembly, bunch, etc etc Alter -> friend (endearing or passive aggressive; you choose) Fronting -> out, leading Switching -> exchanging places, shifting, trading Inner World -> Paracosm, Psuedospace, Imagination Station (<- very happy with this one, might use it for myself actually)

syscourse take: genic labels are good actually, especially traumagenic-umbrella labels, and i wish antiendos didn't demean people for using them since as an overall traumagenic system, being able to describe our individual origins helps. ex: stressgenic CAN be a traumagenic label, just falling under trauma that relates to stress. like a system member who formed when the body was immensely stressed due to trauma can be described as a stressgenic system member. i want to feel safe with those words

if labeling origins helps then honestly go for it, but that also seems like something you'd want to keep private since if the label is highly specific like some of them tend to be a malicious person could use them against you

i only really have an issue with the more endogenic spectrum labels such as willogenic, whenever i see someone using a label like stressgenic for their entire system and identifying as endo i just feel bad for them tbh (not to imply that you are an endo! I'm just trying to give an example about my thoughts towards the labels)

overall i think the idea is good but it doesn't really work in practice/in the public because those words are still connected to the whole nontraumagenic group which probably makes people assume that you're supporting them

be completely transparent i really don't know how to respond to this take entirely because it seems kind of like a complicated subject, in a way i agree with you to an extent but i can't really think of a situation in which it would be good to use them publicly

rbing this because it might apply to one of my previous posts — while i respect peoples culture's & beliefs and such that sort of thing is in no way comparable to DID/OSDD/etc

nobody is upset about people believing they're multiple beings or anything of that sort. they're upset about people conflating it w/ a complex trauma disorder and then comparing the people who disagree with it to transmeds!

the problem isn't the identity, it's how the concept is presented as being like "did but to the left." if it was always shown as an entirely separate thing with different language & communal spaces, i doubt anybody would be complaining

I'm sure whatever cultures you're referencing have existed for a long time, since that seems like a pretty broad concept that has surely been thought of before, but literally none of those people are comparing themselves to mental disorders and identifying with deeznutsgenic (at least i hope not)
