What’s your coloring process like?
Howdy! Sorry for the late reply; life has been uhhh... It Sure Has Been :^))))
I’m a pretty messy worker and depending on the scenario I usually go from sketch->coloring (b/c I personally don’t like doing lineart haha). All of this is done on CSP btw! But I’m pretty sure u can find alternatives to sm tools i use in this method based on whatever program you prefer to use :) So i take my sketch layer and set it to multiply:
and using specifically the tool I’ve pointed out (All of these r great; if you use CSP definitely look up this user and download them off the asset store for free)
if u set ur sketch layer to a reference layer (the icon that looks like a lighthouse)
it lets u do a pretty clean fill with some fair leniency towards any gaps in your sketch/lineart (it can still b p sensitive tho so if i have any major gaps inbetween lines I usually fill it in on the flat base layer):
and from there, depending on how complex the figure/piece is i either a) build my colors + shading etc on other layers or b) do it all on the base layer i made earlier:
Because I dont really do clean lineart, my personal preference is to make a dupe file as is as backup before merging all my color layers + lineart into One Single Layer and doing cleanup + finalizing there - so ultimately this is what im working with in the end:
and if i want to do stuff like a background/backdrop, signature, color adjustments, etc that usually goes on another layer lol Sorry if it’s a bit long or hard to follow, I’d be more than happy to clarify or help more if you or anyone else has any follow-up questions!
functions in short:
Fe: sacrificing for group harmony trumps trusting their own heart’s desires.
Fi: trusting one’s own heart’s desires trumps sacrificing for group harmony.
Te: outward evidence trumps inward rules of consistency.
Ti: inward rules of consistency trumps outward evidence.
Ne: multiple possibilities trumps a singular symbolic viewpoint.
Ni: a singular symbolic viewpoint trumps multiple possibilities.
Se: the here and now outweighs the sacred methods.
Si: sacred methods (reliability) trumps the here and now
Ni/Se axis: reaches direct, singular conclusions.
Si/Ne axis: always leaves room for multiple possibilities.
Fi/Te axis: belief in individuality combined with external evidence.
Ti/Fe axis: internal logical rules supported by shared human values.
Coming to terms with betrayal can be harder than dealing with toxicity.
How Functions Work: Inferior Te (ISFP/INFP)
The inferior function is the hardest to understand and describe. It embodies the part of us that we are least accepting of. Although we are often unaware of its activities, it would be inaccurate to describe the inferior function as “weak” because all of our core functions are powerful in their own way. The power and force of the inferior function actually comes from the mistaken assumption that it has no power. We underestimate the inferior function at our own peril.
