Ah yes, the ideology that is invented by and mostly consistent of trans people, that does not say you have to be transition to be trans anywhere in the core ideology, and stresses that gender presentation doesn't dictate gender is "transphobic". Gotcha.
I think the transmedical community as a whole should work on being more receptive towards open discussions with people who are anti-transmed beliefs. Far too often do we simply resort to tactics of insulting intelligence, name-calling, and just flat out rudeness. As much as I feel like I’m a very receptive person I won’t lie there have been times i’ve lashed out of annoyance towards the person I was speaking with. But, I’m only human - all I can do is work to be better.
On a near constant basis, majority of the posts I see regarding people being anti-transmed is because they’re under the notion of “Well TRUSCUM say you MUST get surgery and hrt. They only hold validity if you can do those things - but not everyone can!” when that inherently isn’t true. The main CORE TENENT of Transmedicalism is the basic understanding that In order to be Transgender/Transsexual you MUST have gender dysphoria. Thats it! That simple. If someone is disabled, poor, or in an unsafe home environment - obviously it makes sense why they can’t because it’s not under their control in terms of surgery and hrt. That’s totally fine. Any respectable transmed would say the same thing.
Most people seem to get RADMED and TRANSMED confused, and for good reason. You can’t be a RADMED without being a TRANSMED. But obviously as you can tell by the name, they’re more radical in their positions. Radmeds are the type to spout that, “You’re not REALLY TRANS if you can’t get surgery or HRT” which is a viewpoint myself & many other Transmeds can’t get behind.
I feel like it’s important we educate people on the differences between RADMED vs. TRANSMED since people seem to always get the ideals switched up. It’s also important to know when to disengage in a conversation if devolves into a flat out argument / the person obviously has no intention of genuinely listening / etc.
One final note which I think is an important distinction, it’s important to remind people that we are not a monolith. You could read this post right now and be like, “Yo this dude is wrong and I’m a transmed.” and another person will read it and say “Hey this is spot-on!”. While we are all united under the same core tenets of transmedicalism, we all have different thoughts & opinions on various topics. One transmed could be pro-nonbinary as long as they’re dysphoric - another could be anti-nonbinary no matter what. The thoughts of ONE do not apply to ALL - we all are bound to have different thoughts on subjects. After all, we’re only human.

Mens attraction being inherently predatory and destructive and needing to be restrained is, in fact, part of evangelical ideology, and i think a number of people have unrecognised evangelical beliefs, left over from their youth or gained from societal permeation of whatever. And maybe they should recognise and critically examine those beliefs. And think a bit about where they got them from, instead of thinking up feminist justifications for them.

First off it's not that being transgender is a condition that can be treated, it's that all trans people have dysphoria that can only be treated through transitioning.
Second off, the people who benefit are trans people who need access to HRT and surgeries not as a cosmetic change, but as a MEDICAL TREATMENT, and deserve access to this same treatment UNDER THE SAME LAWS THAT PROTECT PEOPLE WITH MEDICAL CONDITIONS.

I think one of the biggest flaws in the common LGBT community is that the mainstream community at large has an idealist perspective (like hegel) instead of a materialist perspective (like marx).
The modern inclusionist community is very idealist. They have beliefs which imply that reality is a product of our internal thoughts and perceptions. "A lesbian is someone who identifies as a lesbian" or "gender is about what you do not who you are" are idealist perspectives, and seem to be based in faith and performance, which is interesting because Marx's biggest critique of idealism is that it typically always resorts to religion. I would say the mainstream LGBT community operates much like a religion. You must unquestioningly agree that things like xenogenders are the same as being trans, and that there is no difference between being catgender and being nonbinary. That gender is based on performances and expectations alone, and nothing else. Even if you experience dysphoria which clearly counteracts that concept, where you feel that you are your gender detached from all social constructs and groups. They believe that gender is a concept, an ideal. Not something material.
The less common exclusionist communities like transmedicalists have a materialist perspective much like marx, where they believe that our experience is tied specifically to the physical reality, and real material things which can be observed or quantified. These people believe that our experience as humans and our consciousness are neurologically based, and that we are consisted of our physical organs, our brain matter, chemicals, electricity. This I feel is even a more accurate way of looking at it. Gayness, lesbianism, bisexuality, and transness are neurological, just like every other aspect of our existence. Gender is neurological. It's a physical thing, something you can observe. It's material. No ammount of social expectation or faith can change someone's gender or sexual orientation. None of these things are socially constructed. If you are non-binary, you are so on a fundamental, neurological level completely detached from social norms and expectations. Same for if you are trans, or gay, or lesbian, or bisexual. These are fixed aspects of your neurological profile. Material.
Capitalism has informed much of how the mainstream LGBT community treats gender and sexual orientation. It's obvious that social constructism, or inclusionism is idealist and individualist (just like capitalism), and exclusionism is materialist and collectivist (much like communism). Perhaps if the world had a more communistic viewpoint, transmedicalism would be the dominant view of gender.
