alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

re: cat weights-
A lot of the vets I've worked with have not brought up cat weights until they are very much obese because a lot of owners are like "my cat isn't fat he's big boned!" so they don't bother much beyond "Please don't let him/her gain more weight than this"
I did say "average" which is not the same as "all". These weights are from 10 years at a cat only hospital and nearly 10 years at a shelter.
Yes, being overweight is actually quite bad for cats resulting in early arthritis and significantly increasing their risks of diabetes.
13 pounds as a healthy weight is quite a large cat. 17 pounds, 90% chance the domestic cat is overweight. Outliers are not part of the average. Your cat is size georg adn will not be counted.
It was too big to be called a sword. Massive, thick, heavy, and far too rough. Indeed, it was a heap of raw iron.
much appreciation for people who create ocs that are clearly derivative of The Character because even if the inspiration is clear, they had the self awareness that their headcanons had snowballed so far past character analysis into pure self indulgence that there was very little of source material left. and that’s beautiful. sometimes when you’re preoccupied playing touys it’s hard to take a step back and realize you’ve actually created something wonderful and new
I really don’t understand how people don’t get that developing for Steam is infinitely more accessible than developing for console.
Like getting your game on console is seen as an achievement by indie teams, it means they’ve hit a major milestone.
This was my response before I got blocked. I honestly don’t know what else to say. Most indie games don’t require $2000 machines.
So my partner and I are being evicted at the end of May. We still have to pay rent for that whole month despite our lease ending this week. We just got a power bill for nearly $500 due on May 6th. We have a water bill for $110 due on the 29th of April. I have no clue how we're going to afford the tow trailer we need to move out of this house, and I can't even begin to think about how much the fuel price hike is going to royally fuck us because we're planning to move interstate.
Basically, I am treading water at this point. Any help would be immensely appreciated.
Unfortunately, due to the moving situation, I won't be able to commit to any editing or proofing jobs until well into June.
My kofi is here. I don't expect anything, but even just $50 to get something other than noodles for dinner would help a lot.
do you reblog?

This is a literal "Hammerhead" shark created by artist Matt Sanders.
The sculpture is made from 685 reclaimed steel hammer heads and weighs 500 lbs (about 227 kg). It took approximately 2,500 hours of work to weld together. Sanders even used sledgehammers for the eye sockets and ball-peen hammers for the eyes to give it a realistic look.
It was displayed at the Aquarium of the Pacific in California and remains one of the coolest examples of upcycled art out there.
is germany okay
oh scheiße
This isn’t quite how I imagined the second coming of Christ.
What makes this funnier is that I’m pretty sure that’s at the station for cologne cathedral
It is and everytime I see that hole I think of this video
Remembered to check at the station today and report that
The structural stigmata are still there
Why are the 4 holes?? Maybe 5?
It’s his daily commute.
#it is written that twice did jesus stumble and twice did the cross strike nearby architecture #so really this is method acting
Unfortunately they repaired it recently
