i've only just gotten started on OotS but i find it incredibly interesting and tragic how Mistyfoot has to essentially act as both a caretaker and the voice of reason for Leopardstar who is, by this point, a dying, paranoid woman. one that she has every right to hate because this is the same woman who sat idly by and did nothing as Misty's brother was torn to pieces by the cruel men Leopard chose to ally with. i think Misty should've held on to her resentment but forced herself to hold back because now she can only feel a bitter pity for the person who caused her so much pain
