Yesterday I was looking through my bead because I wanted to do some bracelets or charms for PHM since, as you know, I am currently obsessed. And I found these two bags of natural looking beads I bought ages ago:

And obvioulsy my first thought was It's Rocky and Adrian!

So I got to work. First I made a Rocky charm for the big project I was cooking up:

(It is an interpretation, okay? I know you have to be very imaginative to get it. I wanted to mix both the book and the movie designs into one but I had the resources I had and this is what came out, but I love him anyway)

But then I indulged myself and made tiny rocky and tiny adrian to put on my shelf and guys... They are just so freaking cute!

I love them so much I might actually cry!

Did you know that AO3 allows fics with homicide in them? There’s a whole tag for Major Character Death and even more tags so you can find exactly what kind of character death you want to read.

Don’t they know that murder is illegal? You just know there are a bunch of homicidal maniacs out there who love to read those stories. They write them, too, in between killing people.

Anyone can read the stories on AO3! Kids can read them! They’re getting exposed to stabbing, poisoning, even guns! And they’re writing the heroes doing the killing, too! That’s basically telling kids it’s okay to go out and murder their families. It’s promoting violence and encouraging homicide and if we don’t do something about it soon, you’ll be murdered next!

i deserve a medal for this post. not because i was particularly funny but because i survived an onslaught of nearly one hundred gimmick blogs in the wake of this post popping off, and the fact that i didn’t try to track any of them down and snuff them out with my bare hands is a testament to my immeasurable strength and should be rewarded. at one point i had “the official letter h” add on to this post. you wanna know that blog’s gimmick? the really funny and original and worthwhile gimmick the official letter h blog had? yep you guessed it they just gave me the god damned letter H and then fucked off. only jesus knows the suffering i endured over that harsh winter, and he wept for me

Sometimes I like to scroll low-stakes (for me) internet drama on youtube and something I've discovered recently is that:

A whole lot of people really disliked Disney's Wish movie.

A nonzero number of people think it could've been fixed via the addition of what's basically fanon Danny Phantom (but more yellow).

OK, so what I've heard from my dubious internet sources is that, in Wish, there's a kingdom where the king is a wizard who can grant wishes. He grants one wish per month to a citizen of the kingdom. To live in his kingdom, you have to give your wish to him, which turns it into a glowing blue ball and makes you forget it. The wizard picks and choses which wishes to grant, and is a bit egotistical. He may possibly eat wishes he doesn't grant in order to fuel his magic? Unclear.

This is apparently turbo evil.

Anyway, the protagonist is a girl living in this kingdom named... Asha? I think? And Asha makes a wish on a star, which makes a marketable plushie star come down to her. She and the plushie have adventures which include making a bunch of animals, trees, and mushrooms join in a musical number with questionable grammar.

Together, they convince the populace (and also the wizard's wife???) to stage a revolution, because the wizard isn't granting their wishes specifically (no one in the kingdom can do math I guess). This makes the wizard go super turbo ultra evil and he uses a spell that makes everyone kneel using vines, but they use the power of friendship to murder him Disney villain death style.

Now, from what I've heard, one of the reasons the plot is so random (according to dubious internet sources, again, I have not actually watched it) and a lot of the songs don't really make sense is that the marketable plushie was supposed to be the protagonist's love interest and those songs were written as duets.

So, there's a lot of animatics and stuff on yt that look like vaguely space-themed gray ghost.

My sister-in-law (husband’s sister) was supposed to get married this fall but due to some immature/concerning behavior by her fiancé, the wedding and engagement were called off. (I don’t want to be too specific, but there were sudden red flags, followed by his sudden decision that he wanted to postpone the wedding months or years despite the fact that most of it was paid for already).

I explained the delicate situation to my mom, as my sister-in-law is letting the news get out by word-of-mouth from the immediate family rather than an awkward “unsave-the-date”. My mom obviously told my own family.

Apparently my dad was so angry by the behavior of this guy that in the lunchroom at work he made everybody listen to the whole story (censoring names and identifying details) and said “I’m not crazy, right? This guy sucks!” And then reported back to me all his different coworkers that agreed this guy sucks, as well as their variety of ages/genders to indicate widespread consensus.
