Flapping from above, at first, it seems as if Athena has sent a unrequested Owl, then it lands.
Mistaken, Pyro clearly see a large bat with a comically small microphone “Hello there, small bird boy.” It gestures for the omnipresent camera behind it to zoom in “How can I interest you in being interviewed? Pro tip, you don’t have a choice.”
It lands on a nearby branch, holding the microphone out to Pyro. Tilting its bat-head to the side
It seems ever so weary of Pyro, as if Pyro had wronged it in a past life
Pyro stares, startled by the sudden approach. He quietly nods with wide eyes.
Uh- yeah! Yeah- sure, sorry you kinda spooked me. I'm not used to handling... bats.
It’s eyes narrow “Spooked you? A creature the size of a grapefruit spooked you? Unless it’s because im a bat- what were you expecting? Me to turn into a vampire? Not everyone is a vampire y’know! Some of us are just average bats trying to live life! WOW, some people never change.”
The camera-man- a floating potato? whispers in its ears. It nods along for a few moment before sighing “You’re right, I’m being unprofessional, my apologies. Now, on with the show.”
It does what appears to be an attempt at jazz hands “Tell me, Pyro, how does it feel knowing the lady of your city believes you the most capable of mass murder?”
He swallowed, eyeing the.. camera-man and the bat.
I supposed... honored! Surprised. And honestly, I'm a bit scared, though not from the fact of dying...
And apologies for the way I acted! I truly didn't mean to upset you.
He shifted his helmet, trying to seem presentable.
It pauses, fluttering back slightly “My apologies…” it says reluctantly “You simply remind me of someone, that’s all.” It’s shuffles on the tree branch
It lets out a huff “So you are afraid? But not of death? What else is there to be afraid of? Honor? Dignity?”
“I believe most of your dignity went out the window the second you started spying on people’s minds…” it’s face lights up in mischief “hey that could be a good report, picture this, BREAKING NEWS: Champion of Athena is invading minds! The viewers at home would go wild.”

He glanced around and then back at the camera-man

He nervously pointed at the camera-man.
The bat’s smile (or at least what Pyro imagines is the bat equivalent of a smile) widens. “Oh yes of course it is! This is bat news! It only has the whole world watching. No big deal or anything.”
It flaps around Pyro’s head “How did I know? Oh come on, you talk to yourself about it all the time, no clue who you’re talking to but it’s very helpful for information gathering”
“Remember every time you thought you were alone? I was probably there. What can I say, I’m very good at my job. But don’t worry, I’m sure this will stay between me and the millions of people watching.”
