Hello there! I just figured out how to interact with the wider ânetâ and will be making that everybodyâs problem!Â
Greetings from the crypt, you may refer to me as Rune (they/he/thon/that one). I was turned earlier this year and decided that âYou know what? I should learn magic.â and became a wizard. It doesnât hurt that I moved to a region that is so rich in magic I can drown in it.
Feel free to send me any messages or hey! Maybe youâll even find me wandering around somewhere! I do like to travelâŠ
With that, I bid you all safe travels.
With cheer,
A friendly mage.Â
\\ OOC: Heyo, welcome to my account where I pretend to be a vampire wizard because one of my friends activated my vampire obsession.Â
OOC info: I am an adult, he/they, and idc what you call me tbh.Â
I donât have any solid rules for the blog except, if youâre gonna send a nsfw ask, please keep it mild and keep in mind I might not respond. It will be tagged on my end so if anyone doesnât want to see it you are able to filter it out. Otherwise, no bigots or terfs or whatever. Donât bring discourse on this blog kindly please. Just generally donât be a dick (unless itâs in character and weâve established itâs a character yk?). This may get updated.Â
Roleplay disclaimers: Blood (vampire stuff), hunting (humans and animals), some acts of questionable (or just bad) ethics, vampires in general, will be updated as it goes.Â
oh, no, you misunderstand me. those were my monkeys. yeah the circus and i have since parted ways. yeah it was the elephant thing, i dont really want to address that right now though
"Look into my eyes": nobody says that. If they're a hunter they immediately know you're a vampire and that you're trying to hypnotize them.
"My eyes are up here": excellent. Actually gets people, frequently even hunters, to look into your eyes long enough for you to enthrall them. Powered by shame.
In today's linguistics class we talked about metaphors, and we really want two of the ones we talked about to become conventionalised.
So first of all this one girl told us about a newer metaphor in Russian, "I have paws", which is something you say when you don't really want to do something, so you say you're incapable of doing it since you have paws instead of hands. Like, "hey, finish that report" "aw but I have paws :(" and I think that's adorable. It has "I'm just a girl" energy without the misogyny.
We also had the task to invent a novel metaphor and have the others guess what it means, and the teacher really liked my "she's such a capybara" = "everyone loves her". Capybara energy is like golden retriever energy except you're chill about it. You're just vibing and everyone digs that.
Anyway I think these deserve to become more common in English
Now I know you ainât talking with ya dusty ass grimoire. That bad boy is held together with scotch tape, spit, and faith. Helpful hint: you want the spines of your enemies to break, not your magical tomes.
no cause it's really cute hearing that from you when last i checked your grimoire isn't being passed down from generation to generation. i know you got it from walmart with your dollar store lookin ass staff. you can keep your hint.
I just think itâs funny you think anything that isnât dusted and busted like your grimoire is somehow less authentic, when the reality is you a broke ass wizard who canât get your coin up! You gotta use hand-me-downs cuz no king wants to make use of your services! Maybe you should dress like this isnât the third century and ppl would visit your sad lilâ wizard tower. Your grimoire so old I bet that shit got spells to deal with dinosaurs. I got a spell in mine to make wifi anywhere. Oh, and I know you ainât talking about staffs when you carry around that plywood looking ass shit. You tryna conjure forth a Home Depot employee?
And Iâm supposed to listen to you two when you both wear TRAFFIC CONE HATS?? Hate to tell you this buds, but I do think that the plastic hat kinda matches yâallâs plastic fashion taste and yâallâs plastic ass spells.
theres no difference between exercise and black magic both of them hurt your body at first and drain you of energy but the more you dabble in it the more powerful you become
Getting dumped really puts children's cartoon villains into perspective. Like dude you're SO right, love and caring ARE disgusting and we SHOULD cast a spell to drain all human emotion into your amulet.
My little sister has requested advice on how to give "Zorbo the homeless wizard" wheels. we have tried car wheels but they were too big. we also have tried buttons and toothpicks but it wouldn't roll. If you have any ideas on how to make Zorbo mobile please share.
(Side note: check out my button collection)
(Side note 2: you better compliment my sisters art or I will find you /J)
Reconstruction spells, resurrection spells/rituals, use your incorporeal form to possess a new body, sacrifice a cow for its blood and flesh and bones to make a new one, etc.
Lots of options, but remember prevention and contingencies are golden, have a backup body beforehand or premade ritual to save time and stress
Hanahaki disease is a psychosomatic illness. It's a thing that your body does in response to stress over constantly repressing/concealing your feelings in settings with high background magic. It's like you've been ignoring pain for a long time and suddenly your vision starts going dark, because your affected body is just YANKING on random alerts trying to get you to PAY ATTENTION there is a PROBLEM. Yes the flowers do really exist. So do non-magical psychosomatic symptoms. The flowers aren't special.
This does of course open up the trope to options for non-romantic concealed feelings. Which I think is great. There is something viscerally satisfying about the person who seems so outwardly chipper coughing and hacking and spitting up Depression Flowers so now everyone has to know they're hurting. Isn't there?
Hanahaki but itâs your body desperately needing you to love and care for it while your mind is trapped in the body that doesnât fit, thatâs wrong as it destroys you from the inside out the longer you arenât able to get help to make your body feel like you
