OK SO:

Melchior is the name of one of the Three Kings, symbolising Lucio's king like personality and position of power. Melchior also specifically means light. This could represent his initial arrogance at the start of the game.

Mercedes comes from the latin 'Mercy' showing how he hopes to move on from his past and attain mercy from everybody but especially MC

Writing fanfiction is so weird yet wonderful like you're taking someone else's characters that they put so much thought, care and love into and you use what you see through your own experiences and put them into new situations.

They can range from innocent and cute aus where romance and friendships bloom to events that cause pain, suffering and immense heartbreak.

They show the full range of human experience and emotion using characters you already know or hate or love.

Just fanfics man they're wonderful.

Objectively the entire hero course makes them child soldiers as they're constantly put in danger without anyone worrying about their health mentally or physically as it is believed this will make them improve or they can handle themselves.

They are constantly being thrown in the deep end and if they drown it's their own fault for being weak-minded or their quirk isn't powerful enough, instead of blaming the system in which it is acceptable and encouraged for children as young as 5 to start training to die.

I'd like more people to realise that Bakugo is traumatised.

Everyone reduces him to a pretty and violent guy with anger issues but he's had a history of being forcefully restrained and he definitely has trauma stemming from that.

During the sports festival he had a literal panic attack that most people gloss over.

A lot of people are confused about when the panic attack happened. I was referring to when he was restrained during the medal ceremony where he acted out probably because he was thinking back to the sludge monster attack. I'm no psychologist but he was at least very distressed.

He's such an interesting and complex character that many people can relate to so that's why he's sort of a comfort for me.
