How very depressing that Neil Gaiman had trended not even a tiny bit for demonstrating what a fucking horrific person he is.
As a reminder, he's suing Caroline Wallner, one of his accusers, for breaking her NDA. Not for libel. He's saying she shouldn't have told anyone about it, not that she lied.
The author says Wallner broke her NDA by sharing her story with the media, including with New York Magazine.
He doesn't need the money. He's risking the Streisand effect. He is punishing Caroline, he's trying to intimidate other victims who have signed NDAs to scare them into continued silence.
He is no friend to women, to the LGBTQIA+ community, to anyone quite frankly unless he thinks they are of value to him.
Share the story. Put it on Facebook and bluesky and whatever else you're on. Make it clear what a horrifying person he is. Tell your friends. He's paying Edendale a fortune to try and cover this up. Make this hard for him. Make it cost him money.

Yes, Poland had to finally join the civilized world and 21st century, to the uproar and frantic protests from Polish bigots. They became scholars on the Polish Constitution, a document they never bothered to read before, overnight: " it says man and woman! The world is ending! Evil West imposes its evil values!" Interestingly, there are also many positive comments on FB. If I understand correctly, you still can't get married to the same sex partner in Poland,but you can officially register your marriage from abroad; have to check on this 🤔
So, the current situation is: You cannot get married directly to a same-sex partner within Poland, as domestic law does not permit it. However, if you are legally married in another European Union country, Poland is now legally required to recognize your marriage and officially register it.
Here is how the law works:
Domestic Marriages: The Polish Constitution defines marriage strictly as a union between a man and a woman, making it impossible to marry a same-sex partner locally.
Recognized Marriages: Following rulings by the European Court of Justice and Poland's Supreme Administrative Court, Polish authorities are now processing and registering same-sex marriages performed in other EU countries (such as Germany).
What this means for you: While you still have to travel to another country to have the ceremony, having your foreign marriage recognized in Poland unlocks legal, residency, and social-security rights within the country.
