Wizard101 Story AU - Eyes

This isn’t a new thing but it’s something I wanted to include in my Wizard101 story because of diversity between characters :) Here’s a brief summary of how this works;

•

Magic/Symbol Eyes

These are people who are born with magic in their blood/system already. This can be to do with their family heritage or just completely out of luck! You can be born from parents with no magic in their system but end up with it. It’s a lucky gamble. Legends say it is to do with what magic is circulating in the air while you are born. Usually people with these unique eyes have a lot easier grasp with their magic and appear to be stronger.

Normal Eyes

People with normal eye colors such as blue, brown, green, etc, do have the capability of learning magic! Unlike the Magic Eyes though, these people have to take a test to figure out which school suits them the best! A lot of normal kids find it more difficult to grasp magic at first because they weren’t born with it. It takes time to learn magic, after all!

adulthood gets such a bad rep and like yeah, a lot of adult things do suck (thanks, capitalism). but i do worry about what constant complaints about adulthood do to depressed kids and teens who feel trapped and sort of like adulthood is the only way out of their current situation.

so let me tell you, in case you haven't heard this ever, that in my experience, being an adult is 100x better than being a kid or teenager. being able to more or less control my living space and who i spend time with, being able to prioritize my health and wellbeing, being able to be who i truly am and pursue my interests and hobbies... all of that is worth the other dumb stuff, and none of it was possible when i was a minor. honestly, I've just gotten happier and happier the older I've gotten.

being an adult is GOOD. and it can be good for you too.

The USB key was essentially developed by a computer whiz to store data, information and other software in a mobile source from one computer to the other. The slasher you see up there was created to cut open solid objects like boxes, ropes, etc but to also carve and slice inanimate objects. The lighter you see up there was made for cigarettes. The first three objects have domestic, legitimate use.

The gun, in contrast, has no other domestic objectives and usage. It was specifically made to kill. That is all. Kill. You don’t use a gun to store software programs, you don’t use a gun to peel an orange, you don’t use a gun to light a cigarette up. You use a gun to kill.
