just saw a YouTube short that said that Haymitch promised Lenore Dove that he would not let the sun rise on another reaping, meaning he would be the last tribute reaped.

and he was… Haymitch was the last male tribute reaped for the 75th Hunger Games in District 12, and there were no more games after that. Haymitch truly kept his promise to Lenore Dove! He was the very last tribute to be reaped…

Both Peeta and Haymitch seem like they would get a phone call from the police, about their respective girlfriends being detained after attending a riot, to bail them out and very seriously be like "Of course officer, I had no idea about that." as if not 20 minutes earlier they were in that riot crowd yelling "that's my girl!!!"

These are 16th century Renaissance inspired hotpants, panelled with navy velvet with a red silk lining and hand-embroidered butt slogan, which I believe is like 300% historically accurate. They’re actually modelled off a genuine Tudor pattern but then made ridiculous because who am I.

Worn with thigh highs and a 18th C shirt cuz it was all I had to hand and frankly shirts don’t change that much lol.

Reminds me of that story about the teacher or lecturer or whatever who told their class "hey, the ceiling has 'gullible' written on it" and anyone who looked up discovered that yep, the word "gullible" really had been written on a piece of card and taped to the ceiling.
