i hate when a piece of kids media is so well made that people start saying "clearly this was made FOR adults not for silly little babies. we are the true target demographic" like cmon man. you don't have to pretend it's something it isn't. sometimes things that are made for 12 year olds are good.

Also things for children SHOULD be good. I WANT children to have smart, well written media. We need to stop treating children as stupid babies who don’t deserve good media. The best children’s media is the media that still holds up as an adult and that you don’t feel stupid for having liked when you were younger.

everytime i see this post its without enough context; the mountains are part of the black hills—a very sacred place to many tribes, including my own. these particular mountains had natural faces already in them and were beloved as relatives. the usa knew this when they chose the spot to carve with our colonizer’s visages.
