the ultimate blackpill is when you realize that most men view rape as desecration of property rather than an act of violence against another human
gotta be a joke
Some people don't know how bad things have become. This is a rape shelter in Vancouver. First they got sued because they only have women volunteers on their phones.
Some guy really wanted to hear all the rape stories and they said no.
Then the rape shelter was vandalized. Talk about punching down! The ultimate abuse was they had funding stripped from them. Why? Because they dared be a shelter for women. And that’s not allowed any more. Not even for rape victims.
When they say who can any of this hurt? It can hurt those women. It can hurt those women a lot. The women who are traumatized and frightened and battered.
This shelter fought back and now depends on private donations. Other shelters have given in.
Imagine being a rape victim and just asking for one space where it can be all women. Even just one room. And being told you must include men or you can’t get help.
At the heart of it, rape is a crime of forced inclusion. You weren’t allowed to say no. Part of healing is being given back your power and that includes the ability to say no.
If a rape victim wants a healing space that only has redheads born on a Tuesday in it, I’d try to find her such a space. She has been traumatized. She is terrified. We would all do anything to help her be less frightened. At least most of us would.
To be clear, I can’t be sure of the motive of any particular person who demanded to be a volunteer at any particular time, but there are men who love to hear women’s rape stories and some women don’t like telling their stories to men.
And don’t think these are rare situations. There are many shelters across the world that have been facing the same pressures. It’s a huge story. When JK Rowling funded a shelter just for women she was swarmed by the fly lords! (See my pinned thread for that reference).

Imagine saying "I had a not like other girls phase... but it turns out I was a transman/non binary 🤪" girl you ARE still in the phase 🤨
honestly pisses me off when men say “feminism is good for me too!” women are being raped and murdered. i would drag you over hot coals to save even one child bride. and all you can think about is yourself.
literally. why is the rhetoric “men should support feminism bc it helps men too”? like isn’t the fact that it helps women good enough for them? are the rights of half the population only worthwhile to them if they get something out of it?
Men are repeating that ad nauseam because it defangs feminism and they know exactly what they’re doing. Real feminism will not help men. Real feminism is about wrestling power and resources away from men, the oppressor class; seizing the means of (re)production for ourselves; liberating ourselves from the Madonna/whore, modest/sexualized, private/public property dichotomy that men built and forced us into for their own benefit.
Men stand to lose everything - their maids, their sexual servants, their therapists, their broodmares, their social event coordinators, their nannies, their eye candy, their sources of income (because the industries profiting from women’s sexual and reproductive labor - controlled primarily by men - are some of the most profitable in the world), the group of people in an inferior position that give them a feeling of superiority when everything else in their life is shit.
Without women’s subjugation men will have to work to be successful, to achieve power and status and resources, to simultaneously take care of themselves while attempting to achieve all of that. Who would want to give up all of that? Who wants to give up free labor that benefits them knowing they’d have to work harder and possibly be outdone, outworked, and outsmarted by someone they were taught was inferior to them? Feminism will not help men and that’s the point.
Someone made a really interesting point about TIMs that I hadn't really thought of until now:
You literally NEVER hear TIMs talk about misogyny that isn't "transmisogyny." I've never heard a TIM talk about female genital mutilation, child brides, lack of research into female-specific medical conditions, breast ironing, the abuse of women under the taliban/sharia law, etc.
They talk about "transmisogyny," which usually amounts to "this cis lesbian bitch wouldn't have sex with me!" or "trans women should be allowed to play against bio women in sport!" or "this trans woman was murdered by a man, the terves did this!"
But they never talk about misogyny. Hmm...
i think the rise of the term "transmisogyny-exempt" to describe TIFs is so telling. women are now being encouraged by their male "allies" to define themselves in direct relation to male experiences.
how small are TIFs willing to make themselves? when will they understand that all of it -- having to constantly modify and cushion their language for fear of inspiring the anger of TIMs -- has been misogyny all along? when will they gain class consciousness?
you're only allowed one "no hope for women" hour a week. the other one hundred and sixty seven are "love and liberation for women" hours
hmm.....hate the implications of this
male sexuality summarized
I think some people realized saying "feminazi" was starting to reflect badly on them so they shifted to "TERFs, who are just like nazis" instead. Every generation needs its own inventive way to legitimize its fear and disgust for female liberation, and this permutation is no different.
It speaks volumes that people find this comparison accurate. "Feminazi" and "nazi terf" are statements about the speaker's own emotional reactions: they either find nazism so trivial or female liberation so horrifying that they find truth in this comparison.
It is a clunky and unnecessary circumlocution even when they’re fair about applying it to men and women… but then there’s the extra insult to injury that they AREN’T consistent with it and don’t make men deal with this shit 9 times out of 10. Men are seen as too important to cede anything to the trans movement without endless gifts of coddling and patience. Women are told we need to be silently, unquestioningly, limitlessly accommodating, or else.
Throwing the next person posting some uwu wholesome “the trans and the homo love each other and respect eachother” bullshit into the mariana trench . fuck yall
It is wild that although the majority of users on this website will happily and loudly declare that they virulently despise terfs, they would be unable to define radical feminism if a gun was pressed to their heads. I have never before seen such consistently bad faith interpretations and utter refusal to even acknowledge what the dissenting group believes.
For real though.
According to TRAs, a radfem is a conservative tradwife with five kids and a homestead who aggressively reinforces gender stereotypes and opposes gay rights... But a radfem is also a hairy ugly GNC butch dyke who really wants to "troon out," but doesn't, and hates trans women for being able to perform femininity "better" than they can. These two perceptions are diametrically opposed and incompatible. So which is it?
TRAs don't even have enough self awareness to step back and realise that none of their characterisations align. They're attacking a collection of fake character tropes with a bunch of regurgitated lines, written to avoid any type of self-reflection or critical thinking.
TRAs also believe that gender is an intrinsic and unchangeable aspect of who a person is, and asking that someone change their gender identity is akin to asking them to change their sexual orientation. But also that gender is a "social construct" that has no basis in biology.
As if social constructs are innate parts of who we are and not collective fictions we all agree to pretend are real. As if they would have had the same "gender identity" if they had been born into a different society that had different social constructs. What I'm saying is that consistent internal logic isn't their strong suit.
j/s but one of the reasons (there’s more for each of these) that popular porn categories include lesbians and nuns. irl, they won’t consent. and teens. they can’t.
but seriously, lesbians and nuns specifically have lives that totally decenter men and reject sexual relationships with them, so obviously, men, being disgusting, fetishize the hell out of them.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
It’s the same reason they love hidden cameras and watching women pee. Any aspect of a woman’s life that is not typically shared with men is automatically titillating, another boundary they can get off on violating.
The violation is the point. It’s the part they like.
“any violation of a woman’s body can become sex for men; this is the essential truth of pornography.” —andrea dworkin
Hey trans folks!
Did you know that the concept of “brain sex” has been disproven many times?
Did you know that the Stonewall riots were actually started by a black butch lesbian named Stormé DeLarverie? And that Marsha P Johnson did not identify as a trans woman? And that literally nobody died at Stonewall?
Did you know that there have been exactly zero cases of “TERFs” being violent towards trans women? And that there have been loads of cases where trans women were violent? And that it’s trans women sending threats and cruel messages to radical feminists online, and not the other way around?
Did you know that prominent trans activist and trans woman Eli Erlick has admitted to multiple counts of rape, and he issued a statement essentially saying that everybody rapes sometimes and therefore it’s not really so bad? And that another famous trans woman Jonathan / Jessica Yaniv has made many pedophilic remarks, and celebrated when a judge ruled for girls to have no right to bodily privacy from boys?
Did you know that biological sex is real?
