Surely we can say something more nuanced like "pick your fights, some men aren't worth it".

Because there is no winning, as we know it. And the concept of debating on behalf of feminism is to enter an argument in which you argue for your own humanity. The phrase, "Womyn deserve rights," really isn't something you (should) have to defend. It's simply a fact.

And for them, every word out of your mouth must further your point without affirming their biases. The "debate" is rigged from the start.

Seriously, look at who designs/makes the RPDR contestants clothes, who constructs their wigs, who owns and works in the clubs they perform in. Almost all male.

Then look who pays for it all - who pays for tickets to events, who pays to go to club nights, who throws tips at the performers. Many more women.

Because if prostitution is legal, demand increases. And if it is legal, pimps and traffickers have more room to exploit and sell women under the guise of legal sex work.

In fact, in countries where it is legal, pimps and brothel owners are considered sex workers themselves.

Just because you legalize prostitution doesn’t mean women are going to be anymore willing to do it, but more men expect to go to prostitutes, so the demand for prostitution increases. Where do you get prostitutes if women aren’t willing to be them? you kidnap and traffick them!!
