Once I finally have an actual flat and job, I'm gonna start a thing where I invite all my friends over for dinner. And there's gonna be a dress code but it's just "that one outfit you never have any chance to wear". Flapper dress? Awesome. Medival gown that you got at a renesaince fair but don't actually know what to do with? Yes! Prom dress? Of course! Cosplay you made for that one convention? Definitely. Pikachu onsie? What would be more fitting?

Your patronus is a bat! The bat is a small animal that usually eats fruit or insects, and is the only mammal possible of actual flight. They are also nocturnal, meaning that they tend to be seen at night. The bat has been said to represent rebirth and depth, though it is also commonly associated with fear.
Having a bat as your patronus means that you are strengthened by fear. I know, I know, this sounds a little counter-intuitive and strange, but allow me to explain.You are strengthened by fear because you understand that it is not a flaw. You recognize that it’s healthy and should actually be embraced. Fear, after all, can stop us from making terrible, awful decisions! You understand that there is more to fear than what meets the eye, and allowing yourself to welcome it and learn from it only makes you stronger. Having a fear is one thing, but being able to recognize it, being able to face it and overcome it, is something else entirely. This as an important component of the Hufflepuff traits of dedication and hard work! Even if something is terrifying and difficult to face, you push past it in order to learn from and overcome it. As a patronus, the bat will be there whenever your fear threatens to overcome you. It will help you push back the darkness and show you that nothing, no matter how awful it is, is ever as scary or impossible to defeat as it seems. The bat will give you the power to stand against waves of enemies, for you know that it is okay to be afraid, and you know that you are only stronger because of it.

the oscars completely fucked up transit in los angeles by having the ceremony at fucking UNION STATION... it’s been really really bad and has added to the city’s criminalization and displacement of houseless folks in a big way, in addition to being a general nuisance for the thousands of working class people who live and work in the area. closing key streets downtown and the city’s MAIN transportation hub for days for a party for celebrities in a year where there were barely any movies made to begin with. and the thing is all the celebrities will see the poverty around them on their way in from their limos and range rovers and they won’t say or do shit <3
