Thoughts on Lucifer Season 5 Pre-Release
I think to anybody who has watched the trailer, itâs pretty obvious that Michael is being painted to appear as the big baddie of the season. However, Michaelâs plan and just his overall character so far brings up a lot of questions?
Why does Michael want to do this? In the trailer we hear him say he wants to âtakeâ Luciferâs life. Why would he want to take Luciferâs life? Amenadiel made the Silver City out to be some kind of utopia, so why would Michael want a life outside of it? Amenadiel found love and a family after a while on earth, and Michael (as far as we are aware) has not been to visit. However, Amenadiel also showed obvious revulsion when Linda suggested Michael as a name for their baby. Maybe Michael is hated in Heaven?Â
What was the exigence? Why now? Did he think that Lucifer returning to hell was a perfect opportunity? He also waited a while after Lucifer left before showing up, so what was he doing in the months leading up to the switcheroo? We noticed in both the trailer and some of the clips/ pictures that Mikeyâs posture is off. His right side is completely goofed, his arm seems stiff and his wing is a mess. The arch is practically gone and there are a bunch of gaps in the feathers. Maybe he was brought to action out of jealousy when Lucifer got his wings back twice. Why does Lucifer get his wings back and fully restored when Michael has an obvious past injury that never healed right.
What happened to Michaelâs wing and why hasnât it healed? How old is the injury? Maybe itâs from when Lucifer fell, but then why hasnât it healed? We found out that angel somewhat self-actualize, such as Luciferâs devil transformation issue and Amenadielâs angel status. Perhaps Michaels injury is permanent due to guilt or some other negative emotion.Â

Could Kit pick up an english accent?
Since Kit lives in Devon, England and itâs been stated in the books that Jem has a British accent and Tessa has a bit of one too (it was in CoHF), heâs pretty immersed in the language. With full immersion (like living in the country with people who have varying degrees of an accent) it only really takes a few months (or even only a few weeks) before one picks up an accent. Since TWP is going to take place three years later, I would expect Kit to have picked up an accent and it would probably be adorable.

Holy shit.... Never Again Action (the group who started #JewsAgainstICE) had an ICE detention truck drive through them while they were shutting down Wayne Detention Center in Rhode Island this evening (August 14th).
Like they were holding the line across the entry gate and refusing to let night shift guards in and a massive truck just, fucking, drove up to them then slowed as the protestors got up from where they were sitting, alarmed, then the truck accelerated into people.
It doesn't seem like there are any serious injuries. The people who were around the truck after it stopped accelerating into people were pepper sprayed.

The US is refusing to let the UN investigate the concentration camps.
The federal Canadian government is refusing to adopt the UNâs Indigenous Rights ruling. Also refusing to improve housing and provide clean water to all the indigenous people while buying a pipeline that cost a billion more upfront (and upwards of another $10 billion to get it running and deal with legal challenges) that they plan to build on unceded land without consent.
Canada knows how to look better to outsiders, and being next to the US makes it all the easier. People pay attention to a dozen cops pulling guns on a black man walking on the street which is filmed. They donât pay attention to serial killers targeting indigenous women, forced sterilization with infants being taken away, the suicide outbreaks, the thousands of missing and murdered women, starlight tours, and so much more.
And thatâs not saying the US isnât bad, thatâs saying Canada is just as bad itâs just not as âflashyâ and targets a group that a lot of people donât care about. Plenty of Canadians will call others out for using the n-word but the next minute theyâll call indigenous people several slurs and donât understand how thatâs bad and they âarenât really racistâ because they donât hate black people.
Canada is no better than the USA. Canada is NOT NICE. Genocide is ONGOING NOW.
