Don’t let your fear of what could happen, make nothing happen.
One thing I love about growing older is that I keep meeting new people to like and have fun with
you can do and be anything while being female, and that's why womanhood has nothing to do with what you do or like or say or think. and anything that acts as if you can't do or be anything and still be a woman is sexism, and you're allowed to be mad at it. @all teenage girls on the internet
I just ran my first 5k!
In the last few months I’ve been developing a lot. For the most part, I love it. I’ve become more agreeable, independent and responsible. But there’s (more than) one downside.
I’ve become less feminist.
I just don’t quite know how to combine fighting misogyny with how I’m trying to be. Being feminist means being disagreeable by definition.
I could theoretically respectfully point out when someone says something sexist but that thought makes me feel really vulnerable. Like, they might stop in my presence but do it even more behind my back.
Does anyone have any tips?
I went to the dentist all on my own for the first time today!
I love how many people there are in the world people who pick acres and acres of fruit people who tame wild horses people who bring babies into the world people who scale mountainsides w only their hands people who build engines people who can identify a bird by the sound of its call alone people who dye fabric with dirt and flowers and vegetables people who drive across the country to deliver everyday necessities the rest of us never think about people we don’t even know are out there
Something that I particularly like about this is that these are things that people have been doing for millennia and are still doing very regularly today.
Girls always think they cant do something and then they go ahead and do it

So today I decided to climb onto an old grain bin we have lying around on our farm. I Tore my trousers in the process but other than that it went quite well. Until I was properly on it and a swarm of wasps appeared out of the bin. I said a curse word, jumped off and ran away, with only one wasp sting. So I guess I got off pretty easily but I lost my water bottle and sling shot in the process. I’m just sharing this, because I want to tell someone but I can’t really do that in real life.
When it gets warm I always worry about people seeing the outline of my breasts, because it feels indecent to me. Until I see a man with his whole chest out and remember I needn’t worry what they think of me
Important if your in an abusive situation you can turn off this alarm

Fears that siren-like sound at 3pm on Sunday could give away location of secret devices
Two months ago today I started knitting and today I completed my first ever knitted toy!
His name is Alexander and I learned switching colours and adding stitches to make him. His eyes have flowers in them.
I was running through a never-ending hallway chasing Michael Jackson while he was screaming ‘HEEEEEEE HEEEEEEE’.
Does anyone have that tumblr post with a colourized version of a snowball fight in 1896 Lyon, where people then talk about how humans have always been just as human as us? I can’t find it but I really want it
I keep reading that it’s important to make something with your hands and it’s true. I started knitting yesterday and I’m so proud of this!
I told my bosses that I think the sexual harasser in my group should be made to switch to a group where there are only men, since he’s started harassing one of my colleagues instead of me now. My guidance counselor responded that it’s not within my power to make those kinds of demands (I wasn’t demanding), that he wasn’t behaving abusively (I looked up the definition, he is) and that you should “just say no” (I tried that so many times).
