We should be fine as long as we do not reblog bread.
Question.
I’ve rebogged bread.
I have done nothing but reblog bread for the past three days.
Where, where have you been sending it?!
I love how there are more reblogs than likes
This post. This fucking post. I cannot believe after nearly 7 years its still going around. Let alone ON MY OWN DASH! A kid born on the day i posted this would be entering 2nd grade right now.
hey op they’d be in 5th grade by now
hey they’d actually be in 7th i believe
Why is the bread shiny?
Didn’t I tell you guys “do not the bread” ?
I GOT AHOLD OF THE BREADDD!!!!!!
@tf2heritageposts
i think i just need to put it in my pinned post i already heritaged this post years ago
I like that Supergirl says it’s okay to kill someone’s abuser so long as you don’t let the thirteen year old do it and I like that Supergirl says vengeance will not solve things but neither will allowing a cycle of violence to continue
And I like how Supergirl addresses the real issues and lets the girls be messy instead of "teaching her a lesson" that she needs to be nicer. She is not nice but she is kind!
Captain Cold Smirk™
An Alliance once existed between Elves and Men. Long ago we fought and died together. We come to honor that allegiance.

Star Trek TOS: a summary
Bonus:
absolutely flabbergasting to see people who have so enthusiastically succumbed to despair. like okay denethor, but some of us are gonna actually face the armies of mordor in battle nonetheless.
The thing about Denethor is that he not only succumbed to despair, he wanted to ensure that Faramir succumbed with him. Similarly, a lot of people now are not only succumbing to despair, they're actively proselytizing despair, trying to convince others to join them in their hopelessness. Despair is apparently lonely and they want company in their self-immolation.
btw denethor succumbed to despair bc he was doomscrolling on the palantir. Sauron tweaked his algorithm so he only saw bad news, and he fell into the trap of thinking the world couldn't be saved.
Say you break your ankle. You could know everything there is to know intellectually about the injury. Even with this vast knowledge, you will still experience physical pain.
Now take this logic and apply it to things like ADHD, autism, clinical depression, and other less visible/divergent disabilities. You cannot think your way out of feeling.
That is to say: you are not a bad, lazy, or selfish person for struggling, even if you know why you are struggling.
Genuinely, thank you so much for this.
Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?
It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
Hey. Hey. Tumblr. Ides of March ppl. We can do this
Hell yeah moon holiday
Ooh coming up we should celebrate
PITCH: We call it Moon Day, and then every 7 years when it falls on a Monday, that's an even BIGGER deal and we call that Moon Day Monday and go absolutely apeshit about it (the next Moon Day Monday is in 2026 so we have a couple trial runs first)
MOON DAY MOON DAY MOON DAY
moon day is 20th July!!!
Scheduling this a day earlier to remind you all and myself about the Moon Day tomorow!
I scheduled this in 2025 to give you all a week to make Moon Day Monday preparations! I think I will order a little rocket cake or bake some moon phase cookies!
It's coming, cousins. ...This could be as big as March 15th if we made it that way...
My friend really changed once she became a vegetarian

This might be one of my favourite scenes of anything ever cause it’s so blindly obvious how connected they are after the drift!!!! The way they carry this speech - it doesn’t sound at all like two separate people with separate thoughts, this is ONE thought, ONE message and it is bouncing between them speaking so effortlessly. It’s so different to how they talk together earlier on in the film - they don’t cut each other off or argue or talk over each other, the sentences flow between the both of them like they’re one person. It’s honestly amazing to hear two people sound so incredibly connected
honestly incredible how well this is communicated, but I feel like we’re all… like, missing a huge part of this scene? “Move, you fascist .” Is hysterical, yeah, but I genuinely thought Hermann said it the first watch through, not Newt. Further than that, Herman describes the DNA reading ‘like scanning a barcode at the supermarket,’ when he rarely, if ever, uses turns of phrase like that in the film. It’s obvious just through a few sentences that they’re not just finishing each others sentences, they’re thinking Like One Another, using words and ideas straight out of the other’s brain, and I for one think that’s an Incredible feat of storytelling.
