Know what I miss? Church camp! I wanna bond with people over stupid arbitrary shit while I'm systematically tortured by a bunch of church leaders on a power trip. I wanna be forced to stay up late and be up early so I wont realize until years later how fucked it was. I didn't even grow up Evangelical but I went to enough church camps with friends to know....is this what it's like for people in the church who leave? Do they miss the torture mixed with soft ethereal music? I kinda do and that's horrifying! I know what they were doing to me but the release of cry night was like the women crying together in Midsommar, so connecting and in context so horrifying but miss it.
