“Never have I never…” Sirius started, eyes glued to James, “....kissed a Slytherin.”

He knew it was a cheap shot. But he had to know for sure. The idea had been in his head for weeks and he needed proof.

So braced himself and waited for his best friend to take a drink. But he grew extremely distracted when he saw Peter, who was across from him, move to take a swig from his butterbeer. 

“Wormy!?” he gasped, glaring at his friend.

“It was one time!” Peter shrugged, grinning.

By the time Sirius looked back to James, it was too late. He could have already taken a drink without Sirius seeing. Grumbling, Sirius focused on the next few questions.

On his next turn, he picked a question that he figured was foolproof. 

“Never have I ever…” he said, starting to feel the effects of the alcohol, “had a secret relationship.”

But before he could get a good look at whether or not James or Regulus drank, there were shouts and yelps, and Sirius couldn’t help but turn his head to see both Marlene and Dorcas drinking, twin looks of sheepish guilt on their faces.

“I knew it!” Barty Crouch shouted, eyes wide.

“Oi, you need to drink too, Junior!” Dorcas yelled. “I know about you and Evan!”

The chaos that resulted was more than enough time for James and Regulus to both drink without Sirius seeing.

And so it went for three more turns. Whatever he said, a secret was revealed, but it was not the secret he was looking for. He was getting more and more frustrated and more and more drunk until finally he realized..

“Never have I ever kissed Regulus Black!” he shouted, staring daggers at James.

But before James could move, Sirius felt Remus, who was sitting next to him, take a quick drink.

“Remus?” he screeched. “What the fuck?”

Looking down and stifling a grin, Remus bit his lip before answering. “We both had shit to figure out, okay?”

He never did figure out for sure if James was snogging Regulus.

First time venting here because among us isn't real

Did everyone experience the actual pain of your parents fighting? Cause I did, just now actually. It's always about money and how tight we are right now. And then your mother cries, she cries as well as my father too. He's all the way abroad and I'm here rotting. I couldn't blame it on anyone (except for my brother cause he's a shit) but myself because I only do decent in highschool,not the same as I did before. And now I'm here sitting while I think about praying and wishing it will all stop. I think about how my brother thinks that a tiktok live right now is more important than his family. I miss the old days when we were happy and me and my brother weren't a stubborn shit hole, life is ass right now but it could be worse. We could be homeless but I'm glad we're not. I hope that my dad is healthy, and my mom is struggling too in this community. It will all just be easier if I didn't take the 3,500 that my mom was gonna use for a good cause. All for that stupid field trip that I was so invested in. It's probably gonna be all useless if I'm out there in another province having less than what I could imagine is fun, while my mom is over here crying and I couldn't do anything about it because I'm a terrible comforter if people are venting to me.

Anyways this isn't supposed to be really sad, just a little bit lessening your happiness while I sulk here silently. (Come to think of it I think this is really cringe)

But even his light couldn't reach Regulus at the bottom of the cave where he drowned, Harry almost had the same fate, But if he doesn't live, at least an image of James can stay with Regulus.
