just so we’re clear if you’ve never actually seen a cybertruck in person and have only seen photos of them i cannot stress enough how much worse they look in real life. like i honestly don’t know how it’s possible. most things look basically the same in pictures and in real life. but as stupid and ugly as cybertrucks look in photos, every person i’ve spoken to who has seen one in real life agrees that they somehow look even worse in person. and i know you’re thinking to yourself “tah they already look so bad in photos, how can they possibly look even worse in person?” I DONT KNOW. the first time i saw one on the road i was on a phone call and i literally cut myself off in the middle of a sentence just to be like “oh my GOD.” just an incredibly, laughably, unbelievably bad vehicle. i’ve never experienced anything like it. they’re just so bad

It's the scale, body lines, misshapen details, and dimensions.
Like for some reason they look like, realistically proportioned in photos? It's like ok yeah that's a truck.
But no. No this thing is the size of 2.5 Ton Lifted Dodge Ram but it's BONE stock. It's huge. It's so much bigger. Like it's. LAUGHABLY. Bigger it's SOOO stupid. It's also like. Nowhere near as precise as it appears. Photos hide this kinda stuff on cars really easily.
Like every panel is off, uneven, warped. It's like when you try to force a puzzle piece in a spot it *kinda* fits in. It just... Doesn't go together right. And if you don't have an eye for that it comes off kinda just. Uglier. The body lines don't match right. The wheels and clearance and hubs are off by millimeters.
The plastic is VISIBLY cheap. The tailgate dumpster slide thing? Horrid. Looks so shitty. The glass looks like it's crying in pain. The windshield is yelling moisturize me. The headlight line looks like a bad aftermarket light kit from Harbor Freight. The hubcaps are literally plastic and every other version of wheels looks disgusting.
And they are SO. DIRTY. Stainless steel is a terrible material for cars. We learned this with the Delorean (yes that one). It shows dirt, grime, fingerprints, stains, water marks, everything. And the marks DONT come off easily and car washes DO NOT effectively clean them
And I cannot stress this enough this thing is the size of a steamroller it's SO much bigger than you think. Holy shit. Why is it so big.
