Yeah sorry wasp haters but y’all don’t know shit. Have you ever even seen the cuteness of Bembicini?
Why are you interacting with this trans woman? Don't you know she's a weirdo who keeps snails in her pencil box?
As a kid, I wasn’t allowed to touch the hot stove with my bare hands. But now I get to do it whenever I want
in my last botany lab the professor had a prepared slide of diatoms set up for us to look at and i was not prepared for how delightful the slide looked
I should be doing more to appreciate the lack of marvel movies in today's popular culture. I once yearned for marvel movies to have this level of irrelevance. They used to feel almost ozymandian, like an empire that had no beginning and no end. and now tony stark iron man is naught but two vast and trunkless legs of stone.
As summer is approaching, I’d like to remind everyone that you are not entitled to ask someone to cover up their scars, self inflicted or not. I don’t care if they’re big, I don’t care if they’re noticeable, or purple, or all over their body, or what. You can’t police people’s bodies.
This also goes for my friends with feeding tubes, ostomy bags, central lines and urinary catheters. People are allowed exist in bodies that stray from the expected norm.
A teenager cannot get reconstructive surgery. But a parent can circumcise a baby.
A teenager cannot get body modifications. But a parent can pierce a baby's ears.
A teenager (or even a 20 year old) cannot buy cigarettes. But a parent can smoke in places where their toddler is forced to be.
What a teenager chooses is met with stricter scrutiny than what's forced on a very young child.
these women did wonders for the “i’m single and i like it that way” community… i’m having a sexy ass life!

why is it that ppl hear "fetish" and immediately think "devoid of morals" like ur genuinely not making sense. ppl dont actually become inhuman and beast-like when theyre turned on, thats something we are told bc it aligns with christian patriarcal values, u know that right? desire isnt actually bad. it doesnt make you evil, or incapable of having/respecting boundaries
i got a response to this abt how men get horny and "lose their minds" and "causes" them to behave vile. i rlly rlly neeeeed ppl to understand that men behaving inappropriately when turned on is something they are *choosing* to do, and when you equate that to human nature you are enabling them and diminishing the seriousness of that choice
everyone knows that the best way to help survivors is to call what happened to them gross and yucky and punish any and all mention of it. why would you want to talk about something so ugly unless you like it??
always interesting whenever people start talking about polyamory as particularly unstable or prone to jealousy bc it begs the question of if they’ve ever seen or heard of monogamous couples
are you aware that those people are having sincere earnest discussions on whether following someone on social media counts as cheating
I think more people need to know that being single is an option.
No but genuinely relationships are treated as such a base generic default by society. It’s treated as something that’s Going to Happen to you and any insistence otherwise is treated with patronizing dismissal or as a sign that something’s “wrong” (especially if you are a woman or are perceived of as a woman). Enough treating this extremely optional relationship dynamic as everyone’s guaranteed future or a necessary part of their life. We need to start teaching people that it’s optional, that it doesn’t need to be very important to them, or even to matter at all. We need so very badly to treat romantic relationships as a potential option to be considered instead of the Default Future I’m so serious.
Kids too. Oh my fucking gods kids too. If you are a woman and/or if you have a uterus you Do Not Need To Have Kids. It’s not the “logical next step” it’s not the “next stage of life” it’s not what you’re “for” it’s not an obligation. Enough condescending bullshit that someone who doesn’t want kids will “change their mind~” or that they’re in denial or what-the-fuck-ever. Enough. So many huge choices are treated like obligations or duties or inevitable outcomes. Like no these are choices and you can make different ones if you don’t like them.
Genuinely I really do think it would make everyone’s lives better if we were all encouraged to see these things as potential options with benefits and consequences to seriously consider, but it would also specifically make my life better personally if people could start approaching my disinterest in kids and relationships as a mildly interesting but irrelevant trivia fact instead of naïve outlook that will ultimately crumble away as I come to realize that I Do actually want to follow the Socially Acceptable Life Script.
