Ooookeydokeyyy, here's my list of tags and why, mostly for myself tbh to find things easier lmao
This will also have links to my sideblogs because they are definitely related to this one! Just various big interests of mine vs the catchall that this one is 😁
Also yes, I have a Nifty theme and sticking to it, it's like a signature integral part of my character build at this point
Starting off with the blogs:
Nifty Languages is allll kinds of language related things feeding my lifelong special interest
Nifty DnD is where I'm consolidating all of my dnd posting and reblogs, fighting the urge to make a different blog for every campaign 😅 Mostly Dimension 20, but I'm adjacent to Critical Role stuff lol
Nifty Arcana is meeeee posting about The Arcana gameeeee and probably gonna end up rantinggg about thingsss when I start playing through againnnn 🤣
Also #nifty languages, #nifty arcana, and #nifty dnd are all tags that I use on any of these blogs as well, and each blog's post will link to it's own tags
Onto the Tag Organization!
#Praise Your Artists & #Praise Your Writers- Tags blatantly stolen from my boyfriend for art or writing that I reblog
The Nifty Collection:
#Nifty Rants- Things I have Big Feelings about, generally important but not always. I may add to the post, I may not.
#Nifty Blurbs- I have Said Things of my Own Accord, wow amazin
#Nifty Faves- Self explanatory (until/unless I have a better tag idea)
#Nifty Gender- Welcome to my gendery bendery vibes, I only ever have a highly specific vagueness of an idea what's going on either
#Nifty History- Sometimes paired with the languages stuff, history related thingz
#Animols- Any and all animal related things
#Snakesss- Best animol, derpy lil cuties, yes even the danger ones
#Kpopsicles- People got me into kpop and now theres pretty people making cool videos wearing cool outfits with their cool voices and infiltrating my subconscious. This is normal and nothing of concern.
#Quotebook- I enjoy collecting quotes from the people around me, so I'll share them here 😁
#Kiddo Quotes- I work in childcare, they deserve their own subsection
#I love kids so much- They're so wonderful with their ideas and perceptions of the world and I think everyone can learn from them and needs to remember what it's like to have that kind of outlook
#Pebbles for Percy- Poking my boyfriend with various things
#Pebbles from Percy- Keeping track of things I reblog that my boyfriend sent or poked me with first
#smart ideas- Self explanatory, tips and tricks I wanna access again later
you need to be more normal about fwb. no, fwb don’t strip you of your dignity. they are not unhealthy. sexual relationships are not bad. it’s not weird to want them and not romance. friends can fuck. you don’t have to be involved romantically to be intimate with someone. that includes all sorts of physical touch because you are also not normal about platonic non-sexual touch. it’s not weird if friends cuddle, sleep in one bed, hold hands or kiss. friends can be affectionate with each other. it doesn’t mean they are romantically attracted to each other. nor does it mean they will ever be in a romantic relationship. you need to be more normal about touch and sex in general.
I wonder if the Finale divide is based on age at all.
I've always appreciated that the fandom is old and so the fans come in all age categories.
Please let me know whether you
LIKED GO3 - under 19
LIKED GO3 - 20-39
LIKED GO3 - 40+
DISLIKED GO3 - under 19
DISLIKED GO3 - 20-39
DISLIKED GO3 - 40+
NEUTRAL GO3 - under 19
NEUTRAL GO3 - 20-39
NEUTRAL GO3 - 40+
I didn't watch it
Just nosy/results please
Remaining time: 3 days 19 hours
If you think this might be interesting, please share.
Now with added quick survey!
I'm curious how different parts of the fandom reacted to Good Omens Season 3.
This survey is anonymous and just for fun. I'll post summaries
Please if you can spare 2min let me know your thoughts.
------------------------
EDIT
At 800 votes:
(it basically didn't change much from about 200 votes onwards)
Liked: GO3 12.5%
Disliked: GO3 59.1%
Neutral: 14.1%
Didn't watch: 10.7%
Results only: 3.7%
If I remove the neutral, didn't watch and results only:
Liked: 17.5% vs
Disliked: 82.5%
Liked 12.5% vs disliked 59.1% vs neutral 14.1%
Age composition of each opinion group:
(In other words: Within each group (liked/disliked/neutral), what percentage of respondents were Under 19, 20–39 or 40+?)
Under 19: 24% vs 9% vs 20%
20–39: 50% vs 59% vs 50%
40+: 26% vs 32% vs 30%
This does NOT mean that 24% of under-19s liked GO3. It means that 24% of the people who liked GO3 were under 19.
Because this poll combines age and opinion in a single question, I don't know how many fans there are in each age group overall. Sorry it was my oversight and I didn't think of it until after I posted it.
The google survey will have more data though. If more people fill it, I will try to add some numbers here.
I feel like this is Grace instantly mentally transporting into teacher mode. He's busted this fact out in class and the students always lose it and there's a lot of discussion afterwards and a big fat successful class
...and before he can stop himself his brain is like OH CENTRIFUGE BUTTER STORY TIME and halfway through he's like "shit...."
Because he rememembers that this isn't fun preteen story hour these are doctors and scientists trying to save the fucking world.
Currently thinking about the role of food in this film, and I am convinced this is one of those moments that feels like a throwaway line until you think about it for a second.
The way that people are having zero sympathy for people in Europe literally dying because if this heatwave
This is xenophobia.
I'm also leaving this here. For everyone in general. Please listen to your body in this heat, and please pay attention to the people around you if you can.
actually I think if you tell (non-climate-denying) people who complain about the heat that it's just gonna get worse forever now that you ARE being an arsehole and that's not helpful at all. cos they fucking know. we fucking know. what does that help. if you want to redirect conversations about extreme weather into climate action have you considered something like "god I know right? that's why I'm doing XYZ* to see if I can improve things locally so it doesn't get worse, want to join me?"
*local action, campaigning, planting trees, targeted politician lobbying, whatever: something CONCRETE and achievable with measurable results
otherwise all you're doing is making powerless and despairing people feel more powerless and despairing and that isn't helping shit
i genuinely encourage non black people to engage with this, who might be worried they can't because of the word "nigga" because they feel like it's overstepping. the only way it would be overstepping is saying it to me when ur not black, but please don't be afraid to engage with black art.
i kinda get annoyed when non black people police other non blacks on how to engage with black culture because it creates a problem where non black people avoid us all together which can be extremely isolating and create even MORE tension and overall being uneducated.
used to think it terribly silly (and kinda funny) when fantasy or sci-fi stories would have people refer to major recent historical events as The Flood or The Incident or The Revolution, and im sure historians fucking hate that because it's not helpful or descriptive, but we sure do be calling it The Pandemic
