Forgotten Breach: A FNaF Security Breach AU
“In a universe where many restaurants are at the top of their game, bringing in many people, there’s one that seems to be forgotten; not only by the people, but also by the owners. This specific location is called the Cartoon Pizzaplex; a location where everyone can meet their favorite cartoon characters. Whether it’s with the Artrock Band and their shows, spending time in the Animaniac Daycare where Solar, Lunar, and Star run it together, or hitting up DJ Botas and DJ Hoho’s music corner to see animated music videos and actual family friendly bands performing songs, it’s a place full of enjoyment. However, it seems like nowadays, whenever someone visits, it’s always known as… A Forgotten Breach.”
It’s my Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach AU! Like most AUs that change up the cast, there’s the band, the daycare, some other characters, but there’s also new changes that come with it, like how it came to be or how certain things fell into place. This happens to mesh both of these things together. (And because of a picture limitation, this will be part 1 of 3, showing all of the characters of the AU.) Starting with the creator himself…
Robot Afton Jones
The robot behind the Cartoon Pizzaplex. During his time in middle school, in the 80s, with his friends Socks, Cubey, and Mitch, he was taught about how some people make their names known by doing many things. Most often, the results would be people being remembered because of the bad things that they did. Robot didn’t want that to happen to him, so after he completed school, he set to work at making his name heard in a good way. All throughout the 90s and into the early 2000s, Robot spent his time building the Cartoon Pizzaplex and by 2003, he was given the name of Robot Afton Jones, which finally shone a good light on the Afton name after many years. (In other words, Robot was now “The Cooler Afton” thanks to his work.)
He wouldn’t be around to see his creation forever, as when 2020 came, he caught a very dangerous virus and…didn’t survive, but before his final flicker of light dimmed for the last time, he gave his business to his three friends, knowing that they can keep the spirit alive. Now, he remains as a kind spirit, watching over his creation with kind eyes. It’s only in recent years that he’s discovering that some things do lose the spark of light without their creators, and now, he’s trying to bring new life into the place with the help of someone he’s never met. Only, he knows to be careful about how he goes through with it. One wrong move and his name will be tarnished forever!
The Artrock Band! (Both current and old members)
Artrock Ben Plotz
The leader of the band. When the Cartoon Pizzaplex first opened in the summer of 2003, he just started out as a backing voice for storytime, fitting his role as a narrator; just like the real Ben Plotz. However, as the company was first setting up the band in the late 2000s, they saw Artrock Ben Plotz as the best fit for the band, and by the Christmas of 2010, when the band premiered, everyone began to adore him. Yes, while he still reads scripts from time to time, nowadays, he’s much more in the action of the stories.
Artrock Chica
The guitarist of the band. Her addition came when the company got word that they needed representation from certain programming that relate to kids who don’t have cable television and bad internet connection. That and the company had an old Chica model from the Fazbear brand, so they found a way to change the type of model, change the color scheme, and make her a great guitar player. The only artifacts of her just so happen to match up with her current inspiration; a chicken named Chica.
Artrock Chica does have a small hunger towards pizza like the Chica she was before, but she usually is the one most associated with birthdays, always ready to sing a special birthday song for anyone in the Cartoon Pizzaplex celebrating a birthday. Not only that, she jams out excellently on her guitar, despite her having wings and not hands. Nobody questions how it’s possible, though.
Artrock Bungo (Bungo Bunny)
The keytar player of the band. At the time of Bungo’s introduction to the band, the show he was on was still airing, which allowed him to gain more of the personality that the real wheeler has; including with his appreciation of signs. While he does appreciate his bandmates, Artrock Bungo gained a bit of a reputation where he calls himself the best in the band, which nobody thought was off, given that it could easily fit with the real deal, but it was only after the show stopped airing did everyone else notice that the reputation isn’t actually a good thing.
Nonetheless, he’s still popular in the Artrock Band despite the flaws. In addition, not only does he have a raceway apply titled “Bungo Bunny’s Raceway”, but he also has an art studio, allowing people to show off their creativity to the whole Pizzaplex! Though, he doesn’t look exactly like his toon self and that’s because Disney was willing to sue the Pizzaplex if they didn’t make any changes to his design. That honestly explains the green on his ears and tail, along with why he was given an outfit. Oh! He also keeps Artrock Ben Plotz up at night when he makes signs for the Pizzaplex.
Artrock Moona (Fairy-Moon Rockstar)
The bassist of the band…well, the second bassist. You see, Artrock Moona was originally just like her cartoon counterpart; a moon fairy. No legs, no long ponytail, no goggles, just a small floating moon fairy. This was until the original bassist began to scare the kids for a really petty reason (and by petty, I really mean that it’s a reason that doesn’t really make much sense) in 2018 and 2019. The company didn’t want people to be scared when visiting, so she was upgraded from a moon fairy to an actual band member, gaining a whole new design in the process. Even though she was added to the band in the easiest way possible, Artrock Ben Plotz seriously believes that she must’ve hurt the original bassist beyond repair.
Despite what Artrock Ben Plotz thinks, Artrock Moona makes the best of her role, even going so far as changing her appearance to mimic that of a true rockstar. Though…it seems that her newfound stardom is causing her to lash out in her dressing room after the shows are done, along with actively trying to use her old magic wand to help…only for that to fail each and every time.
Artrock Tori / Artrock Witch
The original bassist of the band. She was a member of the band from the start in 2010 alongside Artrock Chica, Artrock Bungo, and Artrock Ben Plotz; the latter one becoming her best friend and bandmate. Artrock Tori was mostly known by the advertisements as Artrock Witch, given that she had no official name other than that, but the fans and bandmates gave her the name of Tori, which ultimately stuck for her. However, she wouldn’t be a part of the band forever.
Around late 2017 or early 2018, a few of the preschoolers visiting the Cartoon Pizzaplex had escaped from the daycare within the building to watch the Artrock Band play on stage, along with telling a story. Now, these preschoolers didn’t want to take a nap because…well…they were prematurely exposed to horror movies by one of the older kids, but when the preschoolers arrived to the show and saw the bassist of the band “placing a sleeping spell” on DJ Botas (who was a special guest for the show) and bringing out Sleeping Boots…they got scared. They didn’t know that it was all just an act that the characters were putting on and that resulted with them fearing Artrock Tori.
Throughout 2018 and 2019, those few preschoolers told other kids about what they saw and, like a row of dominoes falling over, more and more people started to fear Artrock Tori, just by that one action alone. The company saw all of that fear and, not wanting to scare the preschoolers anymore, decided to retire Artrock Tori. Though, Artrock Ben Plotz, in between all of the shows together, had actually fallen in love with Artrock Tori and tried to convince the company to keep her around when the shows weren’t going on…but it didn’t work. She was retired.
But she wasn’t destroyed. Instead, she just sits behind one of the bowling lanes in Magical Bowling, waiting for a curious person or toon to find a way behind the area, discover her, and free her from her fate…at least to the point where she can tell Artrock Ben Plotz that she loves him.
Artrock Plex
The alternate Artrock whenever Bungo was out of commission for a while. You see, having one of the main members of the band being from a Disney show, especially when it was still airing new episodes during the first few years of the band, it was tough to ensure safety from a lawsuit, so during the years where personality updates and Disney was hot on the tail of the Pizzaplex, Artrock Plex was the one to call. (And unlike Artrock Bungo, this Artrock had no issues with a lawsuit.)
Even after all of the Disney stuff had fizzled out, Artrock Plex still substituted for Artrock Bungo whenever the latter couldn’t make it to the shows…and everyone didn’t mind that particular switch-up because the actual Plex IS already a keytar player, making the transition so much easier! At first, Artrock Plex was his normal self, but after the show HE was on ended in 2015 (pre-Yo Gabba Gabbaland), he was given a pirate aesthetic, which everyone liked. The only regret that Artrock Plex has is that he wishes that he had more blue in his design.
Artrock Zooble
Not all of the Artrock Band members are full-time performers, but rather…guest performers! These guest performers come on during special events, such as the show that scared a group of preschoolers in the Artrock Tori section, or as promotion for new shows! This is one of those who fit the latter.
In the time where the Cartoon Pizzaplex was starting to be forgotten, Socks, Cubey, and Mitch, the owners of the company after Robot died, decided to try and use someone from a new show…an internet show, and that led to Artrock Zooble; the first ever guest Artrock from the internet. This particular Artrock is only brought out on certain occasions, but does have the unique feature to come apart and be put back together. In fact, there’s a case of parts that the people can use to give Artrock Zooble before the shows start, allowing their appearance to be different each and every time.
However, only the three owners truly know why they allowed Artrock Zooble join the band; it was a desperate attempt to bring the company back in the midst of talking to AI versions of the characters, all of the social distancing that has been going on, and…somehow getting accused at being a rip-off of the Fazbear franchise, despite the looming detail that the Cartoon Pizzaplex has a clean record. The three are just trying to keep Robot’s legacy alive after Artrock Tori was removed from the band and Robot died.
Artrock Tinkerbell
One of the most unexpected members of the band. During the early days, she was a guest performer, but by 2015, she was promoted to being the alternate for Artrock Tori/Artrock Witch, then later Artrock Moona. Artrock Tinkerbell’s design was definitely changed from the original version, mainly because of concerned parents…and Disney. But luckily, the company made sure to differentiate this Tinkerbell from the others. (And it’s more than just the outfit.)
The biggest change comes with the hair of Artrock Tinkerbell. While most of it stays yellow like the version many people know, there’s the addition of a green dyed part in it, which in certain shows can give off even darker green portions.
Luckily for everyone, there’s always proof of those extra details somewhere. Including right here!
To be continued in Part 2…
The Artrock Band [Part 2]
Artrock Star
The sweetest Artrock in the whole band. Yes, Artrock Star still keeps the charm of being a sweet guy, even though he looks like a rockstar. During days that he doesn’t have to perform with the Artrock Band, he brings an acoustic guitar to the Daycare and performs there. When Artrock Chica can’t make it to the shows, he fills in for her as her alternate. And after the Pizzaplex closes for the day, Artrock Star is there to help the other Artrocks settle down for the night…with various ranges of success. (Artrock Bungo is the hardest, due to the signs that he makes at night.)
Sometimes, he also appears for certain shows, like the annual Christmas shows that the band performs every December since 2011, the band anniversary shows that happen every Christmas Day, and even the April Fools Day shows, where the alternates are the ones performing in the band while the actual members get the day off to relax. No matter what happens, Artrock Star is able to keep up his title of the “Sweet Little Star”.
Artrock Angelina
A special ballerina who is a part of the band. During April Fools Day, she’s the alternate for Artrock Star, performing songs at the daycare. And on other occasions, she sometimes joins in for visual movement or backup vocals. Her main passion, just like the real Angelina, is ballet, so with any show that she appears in, that element is shown.
Artrock Stu
The alternate for, and the best friend of, Artrock Ben Plotz. Surprisingly, Artrock Stu enjoys being the new narrator for stories after the band formed, but whenever he gets the chance to take his friend’s place for a show, he becomes nervous. Unlike Artrock Ben Plotz, Artrock Stu gets stage fright when seen outside of a narrator’s booth.
Luckily for him, with encouragement from the fans and his fellow bandmates, he’s able to perform the shows with ease. And here’s a surprising fun fact; during any of the songs and shows that require a small ding, that’s Artrock Stu using his hat as a triangle.
Artrock Feathersword
ALL ABOARD THE S.S. FEATHERSWORD! At least…when The Wiggles perform near the Cartoon Pizzaplex. During the off times that the Australian band has, Captain Feathersword always makes a stop at the Cartoon Pizzaplex in an outfit that everyone calls “Artrock Feathersword” and he performs with the Artrock Band!
Since he’s not officially a member, he doesn’t have his own green room at Artrock Row, but all of the members of the Artrock Band consider him to be a member just like them. There was this one time that The Wiggles did catch him performing with the Artrock Band…but that opened up an opportunity; the opportunity to have The Wiggles join Artrock Feathersword in the same shows, to which the Artrock Band agrees with. After all, DJ Botas and DJ Ho-Ho already play the music from the band at their section.
Artrock Archibald (Aka: The Loud Drummer)
The British asparagus drummer of the band that doesn’t always have to show up for all of the shows. He usually shows up when the band REALLY needs a drummer, and Artrock Archibald fills it up. Now, you might be wondering how someone with no visible arms can actually do this. Well, Robot Afton Jones used a special type of magnetism to give Artrock Archibald the ability to perform without arms, while also sticking true to the source material at the same time.
But why is he called “The Loud Drummer”? That comes down to a prank that the other Artrocks - minus Artrock Feathersword (for location reasons) and Artrock Tori (for reasons in regards to her being behind the bowling alley) - decided to pull. You see, while Artrock Ben Plotz usually stayed up late at night because of Artrock Bungo making signs, it turns out that Artrock Archibald usually kept ALL of the other Artrocks awake at night with a snoring-like sound coming from his system. (It also annoyed the locals who lived nearby, kept giving Solar Light, Lunar Night, and Star Bright headaches, the two DJs were always trying to counter back with their own music, and it definitely scared all of the night guards away…except for one, but we’ll get to him in the third part.)
So, with all of the pain that people were facing, the Artrocks came up with a plan. They would record from outside of Artrock Archibald’s room one night, and then the next time he would perform with the band, they would not only plant the recording to go off whenever a certain part of the drums was played, but also refer to him as “Sleeping Archie”.
Needless to say, that March 8th of 2020 went all according to plan. Artrock Archibald realized that he kept everyone up at night, promised to stop, and after the show that day, he asked for Robot Afton Jones to give him an update so he never had to be pranked like that again. Even after the update and after the prank, the title of “The Loud Drummer” still holds true…but at least no one decided to use “Sleeping Archie” as his nickname. That would’ve been even more embarrassing.
The Animaniac Daycare
Solar Light
The excitable brother in the Daycare. He’s upbeat, energetic, and definitely can keep the preschoolers entertained. From puppet shows to arts and crafts, Solar’s the one who takes great inspiration to have fun! No wonder why he’s the zany one!
Lunar Night
The brother who wishes Solar could take a metaphorical chill pill. He’s the one that would rather stay out of the activities and only be necessary when it’s nap time or when a preschooler sneaks out during that time. Unfortunately, Lunar can’t catch a break. It even got to the point where he just goes with it…even when kids put glitter glue on his ears and face.
Star Bright
The sister in the daycare who keeps her brothers in check. A balance of Solar’s energy and Lunar’s relaxing nature, Star Bright is the one who usually helps ensure that the rules stay intact. There are times when she can’t do that, and there’s times when she gets dragged into Solar’s activities, but as long as she’s with her two brothers, she’s happy to be working at the Daycare.
The DJ Music Corner
DJ Botas (Boots) and DJ Ho-Ho (Hoho)
The two monkey DJs who work together. Despite them both coming from two different franchises that are enemies, these two are best friends, with Ho-Ho giving Botas DJ lessons in the spare time they both have. While they usually spend all day in their corner of the Pizzaplex, on rare occasions, one of them gets to perform with the Artrock Band during the big shows. When this happens, the other DJ stays behind to keep the music corner open during that time, since these two don’t have any alternates. The only times that the music corner closes during the day is if there’s an update needed, the turntable accidentally breaks, or the ultra rare case of BOTH of them being a part of the show. (That mainly happens during the Christmas shows.)
Ho-Ho usually performs with the band when it gets close to the Chinese New Year or when certain Chinese holidays come around, which he joins in with any Chinese instrument he can find. Botas on the other hand joins during some Latin American holidays or when the band accidentally puts a song on the list that they can’t sing, let alone pronounce the Spanish in it, correctly…and when it comes down to the “Fairytale Adventure Show” where he is a necessary part of the show’s plot. If he gets sick, or if he’s getting updated, the show’s rescheduled.
Most of the times when that show was performed, it went smoothly, but when it came down to that fateful show that scared the preschoolers, Botas realized that it might be the end of that show for a long time…and he was right. Ever since Artrock Moona became the new bassist, that show has never been seen from again in the Pizzaplex and all of the songs from said event are banned everywhere in the Pizzaplex…though Botas still gets away with humming the tune of “The Legend of Sleeping Boots” because Ho-Ho gives it new lyrics that sound suspiciously similar to the original lyrics. No one else has caught on…not yet anyway.
Vernor
The Gregory of this AU. This young girl always visited the Cartoon Pizzaplex for all of her favorite characters, but her favorite was back when she was a baby. That particular visit, her parents and older siblings couldn’t find a way to get her to stop crying, but one of the animatronics, Artrock Tori, came over and gently held Vernor close, which surprisingly calmed her down.
From that day on, Vernor’s favorite character became Artrock Tori. Even during the show that managed to scare most of the preschoolers, Vernor wasn’t scared at all. She just became a bigger fan of her. However, one day, during a visit to the Pizzaplex, Vernor couldn’t find Artrock Tori anywhere. It was on that day that she found out that Artrock Tori was replaced by Artrock Moona…and that honestly hit hard for her. Every visit afterwards was her trying to find Artrock Tori, but it never came true.
Then, during one show, in the current day, Vernor heard a voice that was familiar to her, but knew that she wouldn’t be able to go looking for it unless she could find a way inside after hours…and it works when she notices Artrock Ben Plotz collapsing onstage due to sheer tiredness. That gives her the chance to get inside of the compartment in his chest without her family knowing about it, staying inside after hours, and hoping to see Artrock Tori again.
To be continued in Part 3…
Miscellaneous Characters
Security Guard Strutter
The one night guard to stay on the job. You see, Security Guard Strutter, or Archibald Periwinkle Strutter if you want his actual name, got the job back in late 2019 after the first season of his show was finished and the second season was being recorded. For the chicken, it started as a part time job to make extra money while dealing with an actual show on top of it. However, by the time 2021 came to an end and the show concluded, he made it to be his full time job; working the night shift at the Cartoon Pizzaplex.
When he first started work full time on the night shift, he was indeed prone to falling asleep, and then later sleepwalking, on the job, which definitely confused the Artrocks that saw it, but overtime, Archibald Strutter has improved at his job. While his family and friends do miss the time that they spent together, they all know that he’s doing this to help bring the Strutters money. And this was the main reason for the longest time.
However, as of late, Archibald has been hearing a voice that he hasn’t heard since the day that he was hired; Robot Afton Jones. The chicken’s definitely confused about everything, but he is told by the voice that he wants to make the name of the Cartoon Pizzaplex heard again…but in order for that to happen, Archibald has to keep it a secret about what he’s doing. And how does this work? Well, Archibald Strutter becomes…
4rch13
A chicken inside a costume of Robot Afton Jones…but with some differences. He takes on the form to try and find Artrock Tori and to keep anyone else out of his way. However…this results with the most of the animatronics acting…differently than usual. The only ones unaffected are Artrock Ben Plotz, Artrock Tori, and Artrock Star. (Artrock Feathersword, on the other hand, was somehow hypnotized by 4rch13 during one of the visits, which got him to act just like an animatronic…while Socks, Cubey, Mitch, and The Wiggles were working together to actually build a true animatronic Artrock Feathersword.)
Now… Let’s just hope that Vernor can find a way to get Robot Afton Jones, and by extension Security Guard Strutter, that being 4rch13 isn’t the way to go through with it at all, but rather different ways can be used to stay on people’s radars. Not only that, but to also find a possible way to tell them that things can’t stay popular forever, but there’s always going to be people who genuinely care about the establishment, even after Robot’s death.
Socks, Cubey, and Mitch
Robot’s three friends. These three became Robot Afton Jones’ friends during middle school, they gave Robot the information about having your voice heard in a good light, they stuck by their friend for the longest time…and they all stood up to become the new owners when Robot died. While they all do miss Robot dearly, they also want to keep the dream alive. And all three of them are finding it hard to even keep the dream alive, what with the technology growing around them, AI being connected to pretty much everyone with a device, and the ever-constant dread about the fate of Artrock Tori back in 2019.
But all three of them have different ways of going through with the new changes. Socks mainly is working on the animatronics, hoping that one of them will bring interest back, Mitch searches online on how certain restaurant brands can stay open during a tough point in time, and Cubey…he asks up to the stars in the sky, hoping Robot can hear him and so the friend can help his friends one last time. (Cubey would ask Artrock Star, but he honestly doesn’t know how to help in this case.) Whatever may come their way, maybe the help of a small girl can give them the answer.
“Until all of our friends are together again, and no one’ll feel so left…behind…”
And that’s the AU! I can’t wait to share the journey of how this AU folds…and who knows? Maybe, just maybe, things won’t be so forgotten after all.
