I want to get a buzzcut so bad my chest aches just thinking about it

Having hair is such a massive pain in the ass. Mine gets tangled absurdly easily, is annoyingly straight and holds no volume. I have never liked how it gets greasy so fast. I have always HATED styling it in any way, shape, or form. Even putting it up into a ponytail made me cry tears of utter frustration. It never even looked that good! The whole reason why I ever got a pixie cut was so that I could think about my hair less, but that ultimately required more styling to look good.

Most of all, I hate the sense of anonymity it gives me. Especially with the bob I have at the moment. You look at me and think nothing of it. It doesn't stand out. It doesn't enhance my features or anything. And I hate how it sort of makes my social anxiety feel too comfortable, in a way? Like, there's nothing really authentic about it. I really don't fucking like my hair. The main reason why I keep it "feminine" is because it's expected of me and to deviate from that would mean my literal physical existence would protest that. But like, I kind of want that actually!!! I want to be my own unique self in every way, and this hair is just so fucking stifling. I want to live loudly and intentionally, not just exist passively.

It isn't me, and I want it gone, but I'm just not brave enough to take the plunge I guess.

Alterhuman community, I could really use your help here :(

So, I'm very new to this. I just know I feel like a ghost, have for a very long time, and this is most likely entirely psychological in origin due to alienation I've experienced from being a neurodivergent person. Problem is, even though I heavily relate to ghosthood(?) and genuinely kinda feel like it's a part of me, I'm just not a spiritual person. Never really have been. How could I possibly be a ghost alterhuman when I question their existence in the first place?? Is it possible to identify with the concept of ghosts? Their symbolic meaning in my life, I guess?

I feel like I'm just faking alterhumanity or at the very least extremely misunderstanding it :(((

This one is absolutely a new favorite of mine :)

The color palette was random, no real thought process behind that, but when I was choosing the name for this term, I decided I wanted something gemstone-related. Fire agate happened to fit the colors I already had best, but I found out some fun facts about it while I was looking into this gem! The colors of any individual fire agate are extremely unique. Lapidaries can't really use emerald, oval, pear, or other standard cuts you see most often, because that would diminish the unique colorations of each stone. Each one has to be carefully carved and polished to highlight the extraordinary flashes of fiery color. It's really cool, and I thought it fit very well with the qualities this term encompasses. I do kinda wish I found an icon with a more rounded cut gem, but I gotta be honest, I got lazy and just chose the one I liked best 🙃
