Hello! I've recently gotten back into writing, and am really enjoying my hobby. As such, I've opened requests as for the following ships, as they are what I am most confident I can write well:
It is up to my discretion if I choose to follow through on a request.
Factors influencing my decision include content, pairings, characters, and my own confidence level regarding the character(s) and/or pairing(s) as a whole. If I choose not to, I will still respond with why, and not leave you hanging.
I will not do [character(s)] x oc. MDNI.
Below, please find my masterlist of current works, sorted by pairing:
Castlevania: Nocturne (Netflix Series)

Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5 Chapter 6 Chapter 7 Chapter 8 Chapter 9 Chapter 10
Across the sea of time, endless universes, and various lifetimes, souls meant to meet always meet. Some call them companions, some call them soulmates, some call them kindred souls, and countless other titles. At the end of the day, it all comes down to love connecting people, no matter how boldly it’s shown or hidden from even lovers themselves.
After being pushed through the Infinite Corridor by Erszebet, Mizrak and Olrox find themselves in an unfamiliar universe. With the help of (Y/N), they must find a way to access the Infinite Corridor and return to their own universe, while navigating their way through heartfelt words they won’t tell each other, hurtful words they do, and the guilt they both carry.
[While this work is reverse isekai, there will not be romance between (Y/N) with Olrox and/or Mizrak. The pairing is strictly Mizrak/Olrox. Y/N is gender neutral and they/them pronouns are used. Y/N is not described physically.]
Sorry I'm thinking Simon's tendency to apologize to inanimate objects rn
Grace gets frustrated with a tool or something and tosses it to the side as he does. And Simon picks it up and mutters an apology on Grace's behalf under his breath. Cut to Grace absolutely breaking down to Rocky later, taking off his glasses as tears stream down his face bc, "he apologized to the tool, Rock. I threw it and he felt the need to apologize. On my behalf." Him feeling a bit like an asshole for throwing a fit
To all Bloodymary enjoyers: Simon IS NOT an engineer!
In fact he's not even a mechanic, so consider scrapping that headcanon unless you wanna give him a whole different backstory!
Iron Lung spoilers under the read more but I bring some evidence
In the movie, Simon's first moment in the submarine (SM-13) involve him looking over the control console, and then going through some folios available to him. The very first one he picks, one with quite a few pages, is an instruction manual for operating the sub.
He looks at the cover for a whole two seconds before giving up. He doesn't even bother.
(yes the gif has a weird loop don't worry about it)
The only instruction he does bother with, is the next folio with One Page on it, and all it depicts is the panel at the back of the sub, and a single arrow going "CAMERA". He verifies it works and gets to piloting the sub. The controls are pretty simple, he just rawdogs it.
Later on when the sub's engine has gone offline due to some, err, rough ridin', he finds a crawl space under the floor of the sub and goes down to find some way to revive the engine. When he finds only the black box mechanism (at first), he gives us a lovely piece of his mind.
Not that we needed more proof that him and technical shit don't go together, but there you are. He went down there without even knowing if there would be anything to help or fix the issue. Dumbass extraordinaire <3
Now you may think, oh so he doesn't do hardware but he can do software! Wrooong, he cannot. Later in the movie the computer console is activated and is attempting to download files but the clearances have been rescinded, Simon can't access anything. This is what he tries.
He tries "HELLO" first, yes, and when the other three attempts that aren't even basic console commands fail, he tries asking nicely.
So nah, this man doesn't know much about machines or systems besides some very surface level stuff. He's very capable of learning in a pinch, but if he has a choice then he would very much rather not.
Imagine Grace defined his name as the elegance definition of grace and Rocky spends years thinking how fucking ironic this clumsy leaky space blobs name is.
Until Grace slips out a sentence along the lines of "could you give me a little grace here" and Rocky immediately points out he used a word wrong so Grace has to explain that yeah, grace means elegance but it can also mean mercy sometimes too.
And Rocky has to suddenly reconcile that the clumsy leaky blob that saved his life twice, that almost certainly doomed himself to come back for him, name is Mercy.
Grace’s own low opinion of himself making him answer Rocky’s question of “what do you call someone who sacrifices themself for others” with dumb vs his own nature as a teacher making him turn around and input brave because above all he’s still a teacher and he’s committed to giving his students the best of himself and his knowledge is so important to me actually
Actually the average human makes first contact 0 times in their life time. First Contact Rylad Graec who has made first contact 3 times is an outlier and should not have been counted
Something I don’t think I’ll ever be over, is how Yao and Ilyukhina died for nothing, and yet at the same time, *didn’t.*
Because they both volunteered to board the Project Hail Mary to search for a solution to astrophage, they were both willing to die in order to give the rest of humanity a fighting chance of making it.
And they both died before ever even seeing Tau Ceti.
And it feels so unfair, because they went all that way for nothing, they died without even getting to try and save the people they were going for.
So they died for nothing.
Except they DIDN’T.
Because their deaths saved Grace, and in turn, saved Rocky and Erid. Without the surplus coma slurry, Grace wouldn’t have been able to go back and take Rocky home, and Erid would have had a much harder time with astrophage.
This isn’t particularly coherent, but I can’t stop thinking about these two people who were willing to die for their world, died before getting the chance to fight for their species survival, and yet their deaths meant the sole survivor of their crew could save both their home, and another.
There’s just something so devastating about that to me.
